VP Connections

I checked the forums and couldnt find anything specifically for VP users - I'm a new VP user and while I like it so far, I have wondered why the installer was so negative about the connection.

I use Charter High Speed Internet for the VP router, and it seems to be working fine so far, although we will have to change modems very soon.

The installer says he prefers SBC DSL for the connection, as it works better on VPs - and that we will have problems with the Charter connection.

Could someone explain to me why he seems to think that way, and is there really a difference in what we hook up our VP to??

We use Sorenson at this time.

oh really? but i have charter cable too.. there are no plms... but i will get trade new vp tmw...
 
I been told by other people that it is varied by VP Connections. Cable modem....DSL....Phone line relate to Hi-Speed....Internet. I think he just think SBC is better but I have checked that SBC and Charter compared different prices. I would pick Charter because it is cheaper than SBC and also, I not want to use the Yahoo from SBC Internet.

One friend, I chatted on VP and she has same brand recector (receive box). Also, our pictures are same plm. Some of friends, I notice pictures smoothly and clearly. I bet it is different brands and connections.

What do you think ?
