Volenteer Jobs

I haven't done any volenteer jobs only at my children's school if that counts, but my dream is to volenteer or help the hungry children program, homeless families or child abuse center...I'm hoping to follow these dreams one day cause this is what I've always wanted since I was a little girl
 
i do volunteer my times at my sons school... when TJ started kindergarten- I came in to help with school projects, field trips, and parties..

I still volunteer and add more like puppet shows, bulletin board, TJ's classroom whenever they need me .. field trips of course.. and now teacher want me to come in and teach sign language to kids. not sure when i will do that.. Sound fun! :)

Apparently money always matter to you.. I would love to volunteer at a nursing home or maybe at Hospic.. But Im not going to be greedy because these people need help.... Actually any places need help... I would perfer to help somebody who needs help than getting paid.. If I didn't recive any money from SSI then I would be out there getting a job BUT I would still volunteer.... But since some of you do get ssi, why not help volunteer?It keeps your day busy... Of course some people have afmiles to take care of.. or whatever there business is. it doesn't affect your SSI.. It's helping people out and your doing this from the bottem of your heart.. Im actually thinking about volunteer at Nursing home.. Or whatever... But Im not going to demand them to pay me just becasue I help them out... Heck no I anit greedy..

Thats good angel.... It means your a great person who is willing to help others. You will get to your dream.. hang in there and when you do let us know :fingersx:

I do volunteer.. i dont get paid doing anything at my sons school. i take care of my mom too as she is old and sick on oxygen.. you are right.. volunteering help keep you busy and make time go by faster.. :) i do enjoyed my volunteer works.. its always fun! :)

I would work with non-human primates in a heartbeat if I were given the opportunity.
