Very Shock News for me.

That's my brother, Robert and his girlfriend, Katie.

Katie got in car accident today in the Morning in Eastern Time. She drove up to school, somehow she turned the left and a man drove his car, he went too fast and hit Katie's car by the side during she turned the left. She is in the hosptial right now, her ribs broken and hit one of her lungs, it's flat now. But she will be fine for sure, but she will be stay in the Hosptial for around a month then go to home, staying at home for awhile. Im very shocked when my mom told me today on the VP what happened to Katie, I asked her who will pay her damaged car(it's really her mom's car) and the bills for her hosptial, amulance(sp) and she said Man's insurance. I was like good! Because I do care abt Katie alot because she is very wonderful girl for my brother. Ugh, Im sort of worried abt Katie because I cannot be there for her now but I will see her this June and tell her that Im glad that she is alright from car accident, I bet she will be scared to driving again because of car accident today, I do understand how she feel. She's only 17 years old. *sighs* Please pray for her to heal and such like that. Thanks :grouphug:
 
Awww I am sorry about Katie! I am sure she'll recover fast before we know it! :hug: I am glad she is alive!! Damn that guy ugh!

Yeppers, she will be alive and alright, but one problem, will she get new lung because her lung is flat from the rib hit her lung? :Ohno: Im not happy with that guy also.. But thank god that he called the police and everything instead of ran away, you know what I mean?
 
She's very young .. May God make her and your brother healthy and happy.
 
Can repair the one lung ruptured ?

That's good question, so if they want to repair the one lung. They have to look for right size, match of the tissue of the lung, blood, and everything must be match, dont have ONE of them to be not match, MUST match everything then they will repair it. That's tough. But if get ONE of them isn't match then they could ruin her healthy.

If her lung has collapsed, it can be healed but very slowly. I'm sorry about Katie. I'm glad she's alive. if you say her lung is flat.. I don't think I've heard of that before. I'm praying for Katie!

Aww Sweetheart I'm sorry that Katie got hurt in car accident! Hope she will have good recovery and be back on her feet soon. It is hard on you being so far from your family and Katie. Maybe when Katie is at your mom's house, she can call you on vp?
 
I'm sorry to hear what she've went through, but it is a darned miracle that she is still alive, after all.
