verbal abuse happens on EVERYONE, EVERYWHERE, AND ALL THE TIME...everyone is a victim in physical but often mostly emotional abuse, often caused by men who are considered to have a greater deal of anger, hatred, and jealous than in women...so why's that? let's read and find out, shall we?

lol just remined me of that old sci-fi movie with Stallone (sp?) and Snipes where they were imprisoned frozen in ice for hundreds of years to come, and then bam! they broke out of the ice and went through 21st century, where everything totally sucked ass lol

I think that verbal abuse is pretty much bullshit. I've seen people say "OMG! He verbally abused me!" Well, how do we know what's verbal abuse? Any word could be taken as verbal abuse. I could make a comment towards someone else about religion or school. That person could take it as abuse, even when it's not my intention. That's why I think this whole "verbal abuse" thing is bullshit.

By the way, that reminds me of ^Angel^'s brother who is smitten with a myriad of video games and would like to attend college to learn how to create and make new video games! Pssst...maybe use that 500 dollars and create a few yourself??? Heh heh....

People tends to use that word "OMG" alot and I think that is disgustin', because, sometimes it sounds like that person is not bein' honest about herself/himself. Sometimes, it annoys me when someone says that. It just turns me off.

Yes, that's usually considered verbal abuse... unless the other co-workers aren't offended by it and they are playing around.
 
Well not to me, UNLESS it is constant like all the time,every day etc...i would say thats verbal abuse but it has to be worse than that..like some bad put downs for example: "You no good lazy cocksuckin bastard that dont deserve to live" shit like that! you know what i mean? I wouldnt say thats playing around if they talk down to you like that in front of other people/coworkers, especially if they are not laughing!
 
I disagree, ' Oh My God ' is not an insult to God!...
 
When I was growing up, saying that was verbotten. I think that's prolly why the word, "Gosh" was invented.
