Who know if that happen to US when internet being cut? No email, no facebook, no IM, no videophone. NOTHING. we're dead communicate out of the world in dark age.

send smoke signals? :giggle:

The media is forcefeeding this stuff down our throats. Meh.

Mubarak has been in power for too long. He should listen to majority of Egyptians and resign and then call an election.

We'll see dominoes fall across the Middle East after this.

$7.00 gas on the horizon if Suez Canal is affected?

If Mubarak is replaced, who will take over?

we'll find out as the time comes.
The time has come. The election is only seven months from now. That doesn't leave much time for a potential leader to be vetted and campaign.

If more pro-Mubarak voters choose a leader who is pro-Mubark, will the anti-Mubarak protesters accept that?

I'm sure there's already interested political groups who want to throw in a few names. Just make it transparent. Patience is required from everyone.

side note: helluva military Egypt has to have that level of restraint. Hats off to them.

There's a big complaint about military not taking much action to contain the situation. It was said that it's a political strategy to get people to want military to take over for protection and security.... hence a police state country like in the past once again.
