No I don't answer them, its just a couple calls but they call all the time, idiot bill collectors that don't know how to wait for a case to settle. lol

Had a friend who answered her unknown phone calls saying..."Lo'...Mabel's Whore House"....:giggle:

oh I hate 50 caller 0.OMG I am shocked I saw caller unknown who caller I said hearing person I said enough caller too harassment for person annoy person serious! whoa!

Yeah then you may end up having the cops breaking your door down. I just pick up the phone then hang it up . Or you can have unknown calls blocked by your phone company , it does cost $$$ .

My hubby signed up for this software called "NO MO RO BO" that is suppose to be starting this month. It is hopefully going to take care of all the computer generated calles. I can't hear the phone so never answer it. The phone number flashes on my TV, I get about four calls a day from these "caller unavailable" drives hubby a little crazy. Will let everyone know if it works. It's free too.

One advantage of having TTY-with Bell Canada Telemessage service. I don't answer any phone calls.

The Relay service-711 can easily access-Telemessage. Duly advise them if any marketing calls/free trip to the North pole etc-- just delete without keying anything.

Number is: 877 235 5777 give my phone 416 XXX XXXX access code: XXXXXX

Then because I worked for the government I changed it to City Morgue, you stab em, we slab em !

That is what I call the FU button... Well, it's not really a button now a day's like it used to be, more of an FU slide... REJECTED!

My iPhone is text only... I get FaceTime and texts, no voice minutes. The new ios 7 you can block calls! So now if there's a telemarketer you can block on the cell and Sorenson :)

these idiots tx me and i never give mob number out so god knows how they get it

A company such as your credit card company or a website that you have an account with shares your info with a third party (spammer) for extra money.

I signed up for the reverse 911 calls in my city , I think if I got that it would block the reverse 911 calls too. Otherwise I would get it. I am sick of getting unknown calls , I answered it once and the person hung up on me. So now I pick up the phone and just hang it back to stop it from ringing.

By writing or online, you can make a request for your credit card company not to share your info with third parties except any company that is affiliated with it. As for websites, always make sure that you read privacy policy before signing up/registering (setting up an account).

For example: Privacy Policy - AllDeaf.com

AllDeaf will not sell, transmit or distribute any data held without your prior permission or consent, unless required to do so under relevant United States legislation.

I don't have a mobile phone but I do have a landline phone (FiOS Digital Voice). When it is ringing, a caller ID appears on my TV as well as a caller ID device in case the TV is not on. If I don't or won't answer it, my TTY will answer it with a recorded message after three rings and then hangs up automatically.

BTW, I found a PC software that will take care of anonymous/telemarketing calls and does many other things but it's not free and will not work with mobile phones. If interested, check it out.

PhoneTray - Block telemarketing calls, stop robocalls, zap telemarketers

System Requirements: Windows 8 / 7 / Vista / XP, Caller ID service from your phone company, Hi-speed internet (DSL/Cable/Wireless/Fiber)
