Umblicial hernia?

:( thats too bad. bowling is fun- I bowl on two leagues a week.
 
Yep too bad for me.. :( i sure missed bowling.. sigh! but i can go and have fun watch bowling and social with other deafies.. better than nothing.. ha.. :)
 
Wow that's scary... I can't imagine to be in your situation. Though I'm glad that you're having a surgery to fix the problem before it become worse. Few years ago my Uncle Dick who is very tall and thin looked 5 months pregnant and that was a big hernia! That's how bad it was, but luckily they were able to fix it. I'm glad you're not waiting it out too much longer. This reminds me I should be excercising, too. :ugh3:

Wow! thats really scary. i am glad dr fixed your uncle Dick.. whew! :)

Yeah I am trying to better myself so i can live longer.. :) but this sucks .. having to wait till after surgery then i can start losing weight.. by the time new years eve roll around.. i guess its gonna be my new year resoultion to look BUFF.. lol :)

My 5 years old son have it. I haven't done a surgery yet because the doctor thinks it will probably close up on his own.
 
yeah i forgot to add that i got the paper from my surgeon..i didnt read it till few days that i realized it is not umbilicial hernia but it is incisional hernia instead. i was like whats the difference between that? umbilicial is related to baby especially after being born and it didnt close up till later on. usually it will but if it doesnt then will need surgery for that. incisional hernia is where previous surgeries old scar was at. i had 2 previous surgeries.. so that made sense now.. :)
 
incisional hernias have a much higher rate of recurrence. How are you healing???? Are you being careful?:h5:
 
i didnt have surgery cuz of high white cells in my blood so they rescheduled my surgery to this friday nov 17th. Thanks for your concerns :)
