I have nothing against guilty members being punished.

I do have a problem with people emphasizing only things that put our military in a bad light.

Suppose someone constantly submitted thread after thread of anti-deaf or anti-black topics? Would you stay silent?

This is not an anti-military article. It is an article about murders committed by a member of the military. If this article were about a deaf murderer, or a black murderer, I would say their crimes should be brought to light, as well.

If I had posted the article instead of Liebling, the news would still be just as horrendous. Doesn't matter who posted it. What matters is that this incident occurred.

So that makes it OK to hurt the 99.99% who don't commit atrocities by focusing on all the bad guys? How many positive threads has she posted to balance that bias?

Who is focusing on the innocent? This article is about a guilty man who was a member of the military. You obviously have a problem with Leibling, and are using that to undermine the seriousness of this man's crimes. Doesn't matter who posted the article. The man has been found guilty of murdering detainees. That is the issue, not who posted the article.

I never said that.

I said that she never posts anything positive about the veterans. If the soldier isn't a criminal, homeless, or a protester then she doesn't post. Can you deny that?

If you notice that she is posting negative posts/threads about military members, why aren't you posting something positive to counter her thread, instead of ....whining about it?

Then take it to PM and discuss it with her. This is about murders committed by military personel. As I've said before, if it had been an American who posted the article, the murder wouldn't have been any more acceptable.

One has to develop a thick skin. If one can't develop a thick skin--they will be on the loosing side of things. Secondly--you are going to have to learn to ignore certain comments, pick-n-choose one's battles, and back-up your convictions.
 
I wouldnt want murderers serve in our country's armed forces...

My point was that the focus switches from the content of the post to attacking my motives. I don't mind that except then no one pays attention to the original post.

The focus switched at about post #2 from the content of the post to attacking the OP's motives. In fact, the only thing that was being discussed until about 10:24 this morning was the fact that the OP was not an American, that the OP worked for the American military, that the OP had posted other articles that were negative, and on and on. Not a single comment regarding the American military medic that had been convicted of murder.:cool2: So much for not paying attention to the original post.
