TTY in GM vehicles...

FINALLY about damn time Onstar got their heads out of their asses and put in TTY capability for the Onstar equipped GM vehicles. Onstar is becoming standard equipment in a lot of GM vehicles from the cheapest Chevy to the most expensive Caddies.

Now they gotta figure how to integrate the Onstar TTY in the navigation system with a plug in keyboard for some cars like the Caddys...but then thats down the road in the future.

That move is gonna win a lot of deafie customers for GM cuz no other companies have Onstar with TTY for their vehicles.

Yeah, GM sure is headed in the right direction and that is what college is for, a very good paying job to be able to afford a brand new SUV. I have always liked Chevy and GM. ;)

How much does it cost to have these feature to be part of car ?? do you have any idea?
 
The one I was looking at GM Tahoe and GM Yukon, they have TTY capability for the Onstar equipped and everything. The Tahoe cost $43,770 (that is BRAND NEW) and the Yukon cost $49,066 (that is BRAND NEW). Shit.. I need to work 3 jobs to make that payments.. I checked in and the TTY and Onstar equipments are sooo awesome! I mean it's really NEAT!!

I haven't check the other vehicles, but I was looking at Tahoe and Yukon which they are really sharp and loaded... You should check out, why not go out for drive around the dealership and check out the prices in your area.
 
Well!!! I knew about this for while. That is because I influenced those designers in Detroit to make something more accessible for Deaf people!! Oh I forgot. Just about a week ago, GM may scrap Onstar because it has not updated much more technology. It may scrap within a couple of years though. Maybe replace with a different hardware and software system. I will keep this posted.
