Truth about dryers?

Some of my friend who living an apartment..

Put their clothes hang on the shower rod... addy their fan blowers on their clothes dries little bit faster but.. takes about 2 hours finish dry clothes... depend on clothes.. (chuckles) I think my friend are totally nuts! (smirks)

It is very humid here usually from May thru September.

I just checked the weather here. Temperature is 94 degrees, humidity 57%, heat index (combination of temp + humid) is 108 degrees. That means it feels like 108 degrees in the shade. It is worse in the sun. Our area is under a "heat advisory" warning. Ugh!

No one hangs their laundry out here in my whole neighborhood.
 
My deaf lady friends and I went to Indiana for Deaf conference a week. It was extremely hot summer and very humidity in Indiana at that time. When I took a shower, after I got out of the bathroom. It still very wet, feel like very sweaty couldn't dry quickly. I was sick twice due to humidity.

I didn't know that the clothes still damp in humidity hot weather. Interesting. :)
