I when to visit some friends in OK in 1999 after they had huge tornado and they show me the damage the storm did. Trucks and cars where toss around like toys and twisted up! This storm is worst that the one in 99. My friend has dies but his wife still lives in OK , I hope she is okay.

An elementary school was destroyed, with the children and staff inside. :(

Wow, it went up to 51 now - from CNN.

Including 7 elementary school students. Very sad

WOW just saw this on the news. How tragic and very sad. My prayers go out to all involved.

Seems like disaster are getting worser every year. Tsunamis, Tornadoes, Hurricanes, what's next? Earthquake? Hope NOT!

It seems like this tornado was the widest on record?

Wirelessly posted

It is sad. They made the area a no fly zone now, because the noise could interfere with them hearing survivors call for help in the rubbles.

We have relatives that were in that very elementary school! It's my husband's cousin's daughters. (I don't know how to explain that line of relation.) They are all ok. The cousin and her parents (hubby's Uncle and Aunt) live right off 35 in Oklahoma City, they are okay too. Whew!

Really tragic mess! I remember the mile wide tornado torn thru Joplin, MO. Lots of deaths in that one, yikes!
