Who here has read any of Torey Hayden’s books? I’ve read all of her books except her most recent work, Twilight Children, but I’ve ordered a used copy from an amazon.com seller. It should be here in a couple of days. I just ended a long period of unemployment and got a job as a special ed teacher’s aide with the Ventura County, California school system. I’m going to read all of her books again to prepare myself for the job and strengthen my resolve. My personal favorite has always been One Child, but all of her books are excellent reads.
 
I read all her non-fiction books but never made it thru the
last one. Did you know she had a forum like this one???

Yes, I know about her message board. I joined yesterday. :mrgreen: You should see me posting there soon—it won’t be too difficult to figure out which poster I am. ;)

I didn't read her books.. ( not sold in my country ).. I'm glad you got a new job.. Good luck :hug:

I just saw bbnt over at Torey’s message board. Looks like our ambassador of goodwill is taking his cornucopia of sunshine to a more diversified audience. :thumb:

yeah after you said something yesterday I went back
there but my user name had been deleted to I signed back up and am now playing the waiting game because they don't automaticly let you start posting
