I love talking about animals and the environment but it's too common. Pittbulls are a big issue but I need something that there is going to be enough information available for me to research.

Blame cruel owners, not dogs. I used to volunteer as dog behaviorist at my dog shelter. Majority of occupants at shelter are pit bulls. They were either surrendered or abandoned. If they were surrendered - it's because of 2 common reasons - they were unable to meet pit bull's demand for high activity (definitely not for coach potato). and 2 - they were severely abused by owners and were confiscated by county. Handful of them had to be euthanize as they were deemed dangerous and unfixable - usually as the result of years of abuse.

Don't forget - more babies die from abusive parents than from pit bull attacks.

Find some animals that are in danger, how to protect them etc.

You're welcome. Yeah, that's one of the downside of some cable companies that are booting the competitors. Perhaps you can ask a question to amend to it to say that it should be nationalized as well?

If that's the case, then we would be still primitive and wild by nature because we originated from wild monkeys/apes. Wolf has centuries of strong behavioral traits in its gene. Dogs do not... which is why they're called a domesticated species - same for horses.

wrong and wrong and horrendously wrong. There are about 26 breeds COMMONLY mistaken as pit bulls.

There are about more than 10 different common breeds as guard dogs. German Shepherd, Rottweiler, etc. Hell - Chihuahua will do the job fine.

It's the media. Just 2 or 3 cases of dog attack by pit bulls.... media over-exaggerated it to make it sound like it's common everywhere. Because of this unfounded fear - many local legislation and home/apt rules (for renters) banned pit bulls. They even have specific policy at some shelters to euthanize pit bulls immediately when all dogs are typically kept alive for up to 1 week. If left unclaimed - shelters will euthanize them.


I'm sorry Jasmine for being off-topic but I must dispel these horrendous pit bull myths. They're a very lovely and loyal breed. I was very glad to have an opportunity to work with dozens of pit bulls. :cool2:

Cloning should be good because it's nice and easy..... and not as controversial as abortions and women's rights in Islamic country. I would not suggest you to pick a subject that would takes a lot of heavy time to research because it will bite your ass in the end. I mean - why put undue stress on yourself? Pick a topic that's nice and easy.

Misunderstood dog breeds. About unfair bans by cities just for breed.

I had a rescue dog years ago who was a german shepard - pit bull cross.

This dog was wonderful, intelligent, gentle and loyal. And I got her after she had started to be trained for a fighter and then abandoned.

My best friend, who has also been my roommate for over four years is a Child Protective Services Investigator. She said in her state, having a gay parent is NOT grounds for removal.

sounds like a Nazi Professor. That's why I dropped out and found me another english professor who was good for nothing. EASIEST CLASS EVER! :cool2: My original english professor required the class to read 1 book and 1 summary report per week. WTF!?
