Acts 2:1,4 And when the day of Pentecost (Shavuot) was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

In Israel today, the celebration of Shavuot is taking place. Most Christians would recognize this as the celebration of Pentecost in Acts 2. However, the very first Shavuot took place fifty days after the Israel crossed the Red Sea. It was on this day that the law was given on tablets of stone.

Fifty days after the resurrection of Jesus, Shavuot was celebrated again when the Holy Spirit was poured out and the law of God became written upon the hearts of men. Just as God had promised in Ezekiel and in Jeremiah -- the law of God shall be written upon your heart.

Shavuot is both a celebration of the God’s faithfulness in the early harvest and an anticipation of the abundance of the final harvest yet to come. Just as three thousand Jewish people came to faith in Messiah on this day a couple thousand years ago, the day will soon come when the fullness of the Gentiles will be completed and then “all of Israel shall be saved!”

O'Lion of Zion, Let’s celebrate how the Lord has provided for us today and be assured that this is only a glimpse of our awaited home in glory -- a home that the Lord has spent thousands of years preparing for us! God Of Israel will come to get all of us, both jews and gentiles and take us home to Heaven through God's Jewish Son Jesus Christ for whom God of Israel gave the world His Only Begotten Son. You can accept Jesus Christ today according to KJV Holy Bible, Romans 10:1 and Romans 10:9 through verse 13. May God of Israel Greatly Bless You This Day In Your Own Prayer Time With God of Israel and God of Israel's Holy and Pure Son, Lord Jesus Christ !!!!

Shavuot is on the 6th day of Sivan, not the fifth. Shavuot won't begin in the US until sundown.

Hey Teresh, I am not the one making this article. I just cut and paste it from my e-mail daily.

Sivan is a third month of hebrew year. As the day of pentecost does not fall on same calendar date as hebrew calender. The day of pentecost happened 50 days after the passover and celebrated wheat harvest. Noticed passover and easter fall the same week and haven't been the same week every year except hebrew calendar, bec our calendar and hebrew calender isn't the same.

Aha! That explains why you cut and paste copyrighted material. This is called plagiarism, Heath. You know better. :nono:

If it was serious uniersity studies or something like that then yes I would say where it is from but it is from my personal email and it means nothing because it is a daily Biblical email that I get in my email box.

It is still plagiarism, and beyond that, is copyright infringement (yes, even if it didn't cost you anything) unless you have explicitly been told that you may redistribute it without credit. Not that you're the only one around here to do that, but ... this goes way beyond fair use.

I noticed the ppl don't know or didnt follow the law of copyright. I have to say over and over to the customers what it means for years. I guess they doesn't have the common sense what circled c means. Please respect it or u get sued. Good luck :stupid:

:gpost: I concur. Besides, Heath, it's only proper to cite sources. Plus, it's the Christian thing to do.
