sometimes feet/toes too.. Ive has this for awhile but never this much so Im obvs gonna go get it checked ..i read that it could be a symptom of MS and sometimes diabetes ...my grandmother has MS and diabetes runs in my family..and i know I shouldn't worry until I go to the dr lol but im a worry wart
 
ya i know what those are like lol i had them when i found out i was allergic to biaxin ..i haven't had a panic attack since I was on biaxin and i will never go on it again lol
 
could also be a symptom of neuropathy. Damage to nerves which has multiple causes.
 
Any other symptoms? It could be something as simple as a pinched nerve somewhere.
 
I know you do cheerleading...

I did martial arts (involved a lot of gymanstics) competatively when I was younger and I had an aggressive coach. I spent too much time doing backbends and tricks in such way that over time, my lower spine shifted. My back never hurt but I got tingling such in my legs and such. It turned out I was gently pinching my spinal cord. I did back strengthening exercises and core exercises and stopped with excessive back flexibility training and I'm fine now. I stopped the sport about an year later because I left for college.

I get that sometimes, not all the time. I dont know if it relates with the workout or something else. Let us know when you get to see doctor. .
 
blood circulation problems can do that. Might want to see a doctor.

Could be arthritis. I've had pain and tingling in my left arm for over 6 weeks, and yesterday I saw a good doctor who ordered x-rays. He came to the opinion that it was arthritis in my upper back, and prescribed Celebrex, arghhh. Early next week I will have an MRI done to get to the bottom of this. I was always disgustingly healthy but I guess my age is catching up with me. Ah well.

my mom's got calcium tendonitis few days ago. the x-ray shows it :(
 
Ya when i had a cheer comp not long ago and the medic who was taping my foot/ankle told me I may have a pinched nerve...my foot went numb..DURING..my competition run through on day 1 so they taped it and put a lil support under and taped around it..i never thought much of it but now the tingling is bothering me a lot more so I don't wanna leave it unchecked..just sucks cuz my dr office doesnt have voicemail and no email you can leave so i call and call and call and never get through..b/w me and grace calling once from 9 am-4 pm neither of us got through once to make an appt...

a doctor with no answering machine? no secretary? that sounds shady.... why not seek another doctor?
 
oh they have about 3 secretaries..just dunno wtf they do all day other than pick their arses because they don't answer their phones and you can't just switch family doctors here whenever you want you have to prove your without any doctor and trying to find a new family doctor here is REALLY hard since a lot don't accept new patients...may just go to the clinic down the road cuz they all know me and I go there all the time since my drs office front staff suck

you might try taking an aspirin once a day. Its a blood thinner.

One aspirin, or 1/2 aspirin a day won't do any damage. If it is a blood circulation problem it will help a lot.

How much water do you drink? Not soda .... not juice ... pure H2O?

I don't want to be a panic inducer, but that tingling is often the first symptom if MS that brings a patient to the doctor. Ever get it in your fingers? MS also has a definate familial link; having a close family member with MS significantly increases your chance of developing the disorder. Couldn't hurt to have a CT scan or MRI done. There are distinctive lesions that show up in the brain. Those lesions are in the areas that control the areas of the body where you are experiencing symptoms. And improvements are being made every day in the treatments. Sometimes, a person will experience one episode, and then go years without another one.
 
ya thats what I read ...thats why I'm gonna go get it checked because my grandma has MS and I read sometimes it can cause hearing loss too and faintness and dizzyness sometimes too which i get sooo to be on the safe side:) ill go get it checked:)
 
I had tingling in my fingers and hand when I was pregnant with my son and it turned out to be a minor heart problem.

However, my best friend was a former gymnast and cheerleader and she had experienced the same thing from time to time. I dont know about now as it has been almost 20 years since she was on a cheerleading squad.

Is MS hereditary?
