I've had an experience with Gas stations, My dad would give me cash to make a deposit on the trucks for diesel fuel, Sometimes you have to pay up front before pumping that area. So I gave the clerk 100.00 bill, My dad was done pumping diesel fuel in the trucks, I went back in the store and gave her more money because it was over 100.00, She looked at me and told me, You already paid, I told her it was over 100.00 and I also need the receipt, She said that's for another truck not yours. I'm like no ma' ma we are all together. She then goes off saying, You can't do that. :confused: I told her then, we always have done that, plus I giving you the rest that was over 100.00, She kept on ague with me non-stoppable :ugh:

My dad came in the store and said what's going on, I explained it to him and he said Listen lady, We have 4 trucks, we pumped at the same number so give me the damn receipt and no more question asked! That shut her up :giggle:

Great vent Linux! Sounds like you'll need to find another gas station that doesn't give you shit! I wish you luck on that!
 
It doesnt always works cuz most of the times i go there and get the print out but they ran out of paper. :pissed: at them for letting it run out.

I almost never go to the cashier in a gas store to get a receipt. I get the receipt printed outside at the gas pump, that's easy to deal with. :P

They probably didn't know how to refill the paper rolls in gas pump machines. It kept telling me "Clerk has receipt"
 
it usually only does clerk has receipt when u use a debit... I try and only use cash now because my bank double charges me then returns the extra charge but its to late cuz they caused a dam over draft!!
 
Don't forgot some people has things like dyslexia. My ex has a high IQ, but reads on a sixth grade level. He would not be able to read the note. That would really suck.

Probably, but 3 clerks, one of them being the manager? Are you saying that I encounter the rarest encounter EVER, 3 working in same store, in same position, at sametime and all of them have dyslexia?

A friend of mine who owns a taco restaurant told us that he has a terrible time finding help, i asked him why is that..he said i think its the minimum wages or the laziness of the young people! geez.
I realize its off the topic but i have noticed in our local newspaper that there are a lot of help wanted ads for alot of these fast food place, grocery stores, quick shops, etc...my hubby and i think its these young people now days are just lazy and spoiled to work so they hire these older people as i have noticed that there are a lot of older folks working in these places..have u noticed? We have.....
Do you think its the teenagers to lazy to work or what? what is wrong with the picture? Maybe its not like that in your town? maybe its here in our town, heh! ... :dunno:
