I was trying to be sarcastic. The article was attempting to criminalize marijuana because it has no medical purpose. I was just pointing out that there are a lot of things that have no medical purpose that are legal.

The DEA's drug policies have been around for a long time. Can we honestly expect them to reverse the course they have been on for decades?There is sufficient research to contradict the DEAs claim. They are not expert in medical issues. Their concern is controlling the flow of drugs. And they address the problem from the wrong perspective.
Let's just say I am not in the least impressed with their conclusions. Or with their efficacy.
