of course DEA would say that. They're DEA!

I would care less about what DEA says because the states do not have to listen to them.
Yeah, states set their own laws and the feds routinely ignore those laws. :aw:

yes - because they're allegedly are involved in trafficking.
That's not what I have been reading in the news. The feds are taking down legit businesses.

The only way the State Law trumps the Federal Law.. Is if the State Law is stricter

Booze has no medical value, and it does damage to human organs and it is perfect legal, this is something I really don't understand. Drug law has been around since 1913 and there has not been single successful improvement, then in 1972, they decided to be more aggressive and this leads us to world number one prison population. Whats wrong with this picture? I think Politicans are too blind over this.

I was trying to be sarcastic. The article was attempting to criminalize marijuana because it has no medical purpose. I was just pointing out that there are a lot of things that have no medical purpose that are legal.

I don't smoke pot either.

If supposed on banned for on person go to charge because Reason serious! I know on notice many people is very terrible I am pretty notice , doctor not accept, if you must to honest to willing to doctor, people don't tell confess to doctor don't know what is happened you find out!

It's probably because some people make fraud license to make legal to purchase the marijuana. Way to mess up.

There is sufficient research to contradict the DEAs claim. They are not expert in medical issues. Their concern is controlling the flow of drugs. And they address the problem from the wrong perspective.

Let's just say I am not in the least impressed with their conclusions. Or with their efficacy.

The DEA's drug policies have been around for a long time. Can we honestly expect them to reverse the course they have been on for decades?

One can hope this is the beginning of the end for their outdated ideas. Perhaps not in this President's administration, but perhaps in the next one or two administrations things may change for the better.

I'm not a pot smoker; I just recognize its use for certain medically-related situations.
