They just simply make products cheap to make and they are low quality....translate to shorter lifespan, many of the parts are non replaceable either. It's cheaper to buy new than repair them nowadays.
That is true,Sequoias. I don't believe that the toaster would not be lasting that long if past people have been using it all the time. I believe that they only use the toaster rarely not all the time. Yeah, it could mean that people can take better care of their toaster and also get the toaster repair sometimes if they want to keep it and not buy a new toaster. That is hard to believe that the toaster is FIFTY years, very rare. I always buy a new toaster as I don't know how to fix it for repair, even my husband don't know how to fix it if it break down. It is easier to buy new than to repair it. "sigh", that is very interesting.
