The new Volt hybrid car....a lemon.

See above.

Doesn't give much information. Just because that is your experience doesn't mean that it is the norm. For the norm, the price I gave was very inexpensive.

Oh, for the norm. Yeah.. Yeah..

The norm for the friends in my circle .... That's still expensive. :)

We all get cars for under $500 regularly.

And don't forget this is a deaf forum.. ;)

oh... I thought differently. I was going to use a lemon to grow more lemons to sell more lemonade

Do both. All you need for growing is the seeds, and you don't want those for lemonade, anyway!

Nope. I've been doing that for years! I currently drive a 1992 Daewoo. Paid $1000 for it. They don't even make them anymore. But...it only had 80,000 miles on it when I bought it from a friend. And it was one owner and he is OCD so I know it was well cared for!

That's why I decided to buy my new Scion...it is 6 years old..only 17K miles and sold for less than 10K.

Guess what? this am, my gas tank was on "E" and I was expecting to shell out $40 plus dollars to fill it up. Only costed me $23 to fill it up.

I am saving a shitload of money on this deal!

Who cares if it is a goofy looking vehicle. STFU!!

Haven't forgotten it at all. But what exactly does that have to do with the topic or my posting?

LOL!:laugh2: Agreed. I fill my tank for about 25.00 and drive on it for a week and a half. Mine looks like a little white egg, lol...but frankly, I don't give a darn. Cheap to purchase, cheap on gas, and cheap to maintain.

:) theres a reason I said that. :)

And that reason would be....? I assumed there was a reason you said it; there is always a reason behind anything that anyone says. In case you missed the point of my inquiry, it was a request to provide that reason, as the comment was so unrelated to the topic.

I said what I said. You can go back and read what I said to see what I mean.

There is no reasoning in your post. If there was, it would have already been noted. You made an unrelated statement, and then refused to explain the reasoning behind it.

I suppose we can all just assume that it was some sort of a veiled attempt to provoke.

YOU can assume that, it is not an attempt to provoke.

By the way, the topic is the new volt hybrid car.

Chevy Volt sucks, 'nuff said. So why can't we talk about something else...

Yeah yeah yeah, lol.

I only pay $25-27 to fill up my Honda Civic once a week or so. It's cheap to operate, pretty much and it's very reliable.

You can always count on something critical being said by kokonut about anything Obama. I always feel like a sucker even opening a thread created by him. Im sure if the public had complete access to kokonut's life and every decision made we'd get some good entertainment.

I bought my car brand new does that make me stupid. You could take the part of the one sentence I typed "I bought my car brand new" put it into context and make it sound like anything you want it to. But if you read on and find out I bought it brand new 11 years ago, paid it off 7 years ago, took good care of it, maintained it pay low insurance on it now am I still stupid for continuing with my investment made 11 years ago. By doing this I can pay cash now for any vehicle when this car finally is at the end of its road. (oh yeah its a Chevy, but I could care less about car brand wars- its just what I happened to buy then).
