seems like kokonut constantly brings obama into everything, somehow.. how pathetic.
Well, Obama isn't quite that stellar.

Abortion issue-- Like I said... this is where we would have to become miniarchists in this regard. I don't agree with funding, however it kinda go back to my criticism of the overton topic, however... if you don't like abortions, group yourself with people don't believe in it and stick with them; let the ones that do support it do their own thing. It's the only solution to the damn debate. This is where "natural consequences" have to dictate who is right and who is wrong without anyone complaining.

I believe the unborn has rights. They are human beings. It's a human rights issue. Except they have no voice and cannot defend themselves. Simply put.
Ever wonder why German soldiers didn't suffer serious repercussions from the Americans, yet the Soviets treated them brutally after the war?
Might want to look at how they treated American and Soviet POWs...
what about women who got pregnant from rape? women whose health are in risk due to the pregnancy? i'd rather have abortions be legal and safe for the women instead of unsafe methods (coat hangers, drugs, etc.)..
you're one to talk.
Exactly what is your point to what was done 65 years ago to now such as Gitmo? Again, when it comes to war there are no rules if you think about it. Yet it serves our purpose to see that we abide by the rules of engagement. But even that alone does not mean it's a guarantee recipe for a win when the other side plays dirty. So, it gets to be laughable concept to call a war an "illegal war."
Because it shows that if you treat your POWs like you would the citizens of your own country, then things shine favorably for you.
I'm not the one spending $1.4 trillion dollars in 9 months flat, am I?
kokonut, just curious.. are you a male?
and it's an embryo or a fetus (depending on the stage), not a baby.
Ad nauseum.
Want to be effective? Learn from the populists and popular culture. It's shock value that change the world, not repetition.

evading my question, i see. i'll just leave this here, since it's getting off topic..

And to drive a point on how serious the deficit spending is and mounting debts, not to mention the mounting interest behind those debts. Ignoring it isn't the answer but rather acknowledging that it is a serious problem. From what I have seen so far, people do not want to even face that acknowledgement of what's coming down the road. What good is it to help the poor, help them get their basic needs met, medical coverage and all that if we have no money at all once we bankrupted ourselves into oblivion? People are not thinking ahead on this very problematic issue, obviously.
