The Glenn Beck thread!!!

One thing was said I found of interest. He called it a window, but you could call it almost anything. Fact is individuals and society as a whole does draw a line around what will be supported, how it will be supported, and why.

To me who draws this parameter, when, and how often, is just as important as where it is drawn. According to these two men politicians are drawing them for us without our consent. The implication is that if they were drawn correctly they would be drawn where these men think it should be drawn.

I do not believe there is a correct answer, but I do believe we the people and our opinions should be in on the drawing.

They're not acknowledging it because it's being repeated to them daily to the point where they tuned it out.

Yes, it is a serious problem... but sometimes we need to let things stew a bit... make people forget about it, then shock them with the truth in one decisive blow. Right now, the deficit is just white noise to us. We know it's a problem, but people are tired of hearing it all the time.

I disagree. This is something that people need to be reminded over and over. Saying it once will not help get the message across. There are way too many people who do not even realize that we have a $1.4 trillion dollar deficit spending problem this year. There are a variety of ways to send this message. Rising unemployment rate will certainly get this attention and if they think that's bad, wait till hyper-inflation sets in. Even Europe is preparing for that eventuality here in the U.S.

And it's the same drum being beaten since Clinton's times. It's time to pick a different instrument-- or replace the drumhead.

The White House figures that society is an uneducated lot and that they are the ones that need help and massive govt intervention by being the supreme nanny since the public are unable to think for themselves and be independent thinkers. So, who are the ones that are actually doing the drawing then?

Incorrect. It's the same warning before Clinton's time. Only this time the problem and magnitude have jumped 3 to 4 times worse in this year alone.

Glenn Beck. this thread is about Glenn Beck. talk about him, not Obama or $1.4 trillion debt.

.

Unfortunately a large segment of the population would prefer a nanny to the burden of having to think things through. Oddly many of these people are credited with having an education, college degrees even.

You can't get anything what you want, don't whine about increase of deficit and Obama has been very narrow influenced to increase of deficit and rest are come from Bush Admin, when recession start in one year ago and federal lost alot of money after numerous lay off, neither is republican or democrat would make budget cut to prevent from increase of deficit, however republican will cut some other services but favor to focus on 2 wars.

I know you are just talk, talk, talk so none are true, I'm laughing at your anti-Obama comment and you got ZERO idea, man.

Let me help Koko continue his ranting about deficits and Obama, without going off topic. Here goes....

What does Glenn Beck think about Obama?

What does Glenn Beck think about $1.4 Trillion deficit in 9 months flat?

Now I can "unsubscribe" to this thread, since it will read like all the others. Have a nice day.

uhhhh....that would be public "is" , not public "are", and Public "is" again, not "are", think for "itself" not themselves", society is is singular, they is plural, inconsistency in reference, uneducated lot is singular, ones is plural...again inconsistency in reference. It would appear that the premise of undereducation is based in observable reality.:giggle:

I'm not sure. You'll have to watch his captioned YouTube's GB shows. But I have a pretty good idea though.

Controversy causes ratings, and ratings means charging advertisers a higher fee. It also allows Glen Beck to gain publishing deals. You guys are basically feeding the troll.

Ann Coutoure, Oreilly, Beck, dont believe in half the shit they say. But they know that the more bold their comments are, the more controversy it creates.

Well, that is a matter of opinions here. I haven't made up my mind about GB yet.
