I'm an American who is a Christian. Jesus was Jewish but He is Savior for all the world's peoples. We don't worship our Christmas tree, and we don't believe in or celebrate Santa Claus/Kris Kringle. Other than that….

and we let our little kids sit on knee of some old fart who in disguise even photo it,do same thing in summer get arrested

same, its nice otherwise we have nothing in our 'western culture to make it special' ...so there xmas fits the bill

I'm sorry that some people have bad memories or experiences about Christmas. It's very sad that the true meaning has been overwhelmed by commercialization in many cases.

I've found it sort of "sad" when people say to me..."Christmas"...nah...just another day to me!"....I've made it a point to give them a stocking with something in it....and their faces really "light up!"...One of my neighbors does not celebrate Christmas....I've never inquired as to "why not"...but know she is not religious....So feel it's just being depressed....Even my sister commented that she wished it was all over as she lives alone....

No matter whatever life has thrown towards me...Christmas has always been special and in my heart, a time for giving, never mind the receiving..whether its gifts or just a warm hug....

Well, in spite of commercialization, it is the Spirit of Christmas and to bring goodwill and peace on Mother Earth. It is a time for celebration for food and family plus friends just like Thanksgiving only you can give one gift to special person if not more than one.

I picked out a name in my family for a gift to give to. That way we will have enough to spend on food and important bills to run the house. Gift giving is not important but kids love presents or gifts and were very excited to get them from Santa Claus. That is their fanatasy, whether it is real or not real. It is just the spirit that make the difference.

This is usually chritmas for me. On 23rd my mom, sometimes a few cousins and now my fiance cook some food and take it to those who have less than we do. O have done this since i can remember, bit at first it was only my brothet and i. So the 24th the good is passed. Then just celebrate woth family. We usually get together a lot, bit not the whole family. When everyone is together its like 300 people in there. (Yup a mexican family. Lol) we make games and all this stuff, eat and enjoy oir company. At mid night we open presents and go off to sleep. Just this uear, i boight gifts for the kids at the hospital. So i will give it to them (pit them undef a tree the hsopitalset up and that i boight) most of them still belive in santa clause. So thats chritmas for me.

I'm spiritual but not religious, I celebrate Christmas with family in NC, cuddling and reminiscing about the past, gift giving, hitting it up in downtown Charlotte, making these massive dinners (I try to help, but I'm not kitchen material. I always end up talking football trash with the guys! :P ). I just can't relax and sit on my bum (even though I need it.), I always want to do something. This is usually my only chance in the entire year to just sharing and making time with family. I don't have kids of my own but I'm already looking forward to taking my cousin's kids to enjoy the sights in the city!

A lot of Kids: "What did I get for Christmas?"

Christians: "Forgiveness"
