Anyone remember watching the adventures of Bo and Luke Duke in their souped up 1969 Dodge Charger "General Lee" way back on old time TV?

Come August, the General Lee's back and badder than ever! I find that funny especially that Boss Hogg is more thinner and looks more like Burt Reynolds! Starring as Bo and Luke are Johnny Knoxville (Luke) and Seann William Scott (Bo) along with Jessica Simpson (Daisy), and Willie Nelson as their dear ol' Uncle Jesse.

Yup, and they reruns on CMT channels.
And YES. have plans on watching this movie, only rule must be met... it must have captions.

I remember watching that show when it first ran! :) I enjoyed it. :)

My only gripe is I thought Daisy was a brunette, not a blonde like Jessica Simpson. Oh well. :) Will the original stars be in the movie? :) I do know that Denver Pyle (Uncle Jesse), and Sorrell Brooke (Boss Hogg) are gone now, but what about the others? :)
 
I just looked at the link in the first post....and I noticed the police shirt that "Roscoe" wore in the movie (light brown) is a different color than on the TV show (light blue) in the Gallery section. :)

I can see some differences in the two versions, but hopefully it will be a good movie. :) I may go see it when it comes out on video. :)
 
woohoo! Yey! I want more dukes of Hazzard....it looks like they're in urban life unlike in the old series, that they were in rural area. So much for city sprawl.
 
LOL Seqoias. :) Maybe they wanted it in cities now (instead of in the country like the TV series) because of the show "Enos"? :) Anyone remember that one? It was a spin-off of "Dukes of Hazzard" that starred Deputy Enos Strate, the one Roscoe used to call a "dipstick". :)

I remember the "Dukes of Hazzard". I was a bit young to see the series when it aired, but I do remember it. I also have no interest in seeing the movie version.

Jessica Simpson as Daisy Duke?! :wtf:

I have a feeling I'll like Catherine Bach better as Daisy too. :)....but like I said, I will watch it when it comes out on TV or on video....not in the movies. I am not that desperate to go see it because it is not going to be having the same feeling as I had with the original. :) No biggie. :)

Not only running on CMT now but Seasons 1, 2 and 3 are all on dvd's for only 30 bucks a season.....
