Update: the best birthday ever!!!
Hello!!! Here is a part two story!!!
So... finally my sisters and I agreed to meet on February 11th, my 2nd sister, thought it would be better if my sisters and their husbands would come down here to see me so that I wouldn't be so overwheming at the first meeting to meet the W H O L E family. Sure enough, yesterday was very overwhelming experience!!! I was so scared that they wouldn't like mmmee!! or I wouldn't like them!! It was very scary moment!!!
When they arrived at my friend's house, I saw their van. I told Stephanie (my friend) "Steph, you go and answer the door!" She said, "NO!!! YOU!!" then she pointed at my husband," Danny, you do it!!" I agreed, "Yeah!!!! You do it!" We were doing that for a few seconds. Then I gave up, "Danny, you and I do it together!" He agreed. As we walked together to the front door, we saw 3 beautiful sisters (I have four, but one of them couldn't make it!) two of their husbands, and my nephew, (12 yrs old). He is so adorrrable!!!! Hehe. It was very emotional moment. We sat down and ate lunch. Then my older sister, was carrying a scrapbook and there was a picture of my birth mother when she was a little girl. I honestly thought it was ME!!!! I was in shock that my birth mother looked like me when I was little! It was amazing!! Then 2nd sister opened the book, she showed me all the pictures of my mother. It was really cool!! I have gotten to know my mother better. She was truly a beautiful lady. All of my life, I have wondered what she looked like and I always knew she was a beautiful lady! It was incredible!!! So we talked and laughed. I asked my sisters about my birth father. I learned that my birth father had no idea about me. I doubt he knows about me. Hopefully I will meet him someday! When the timing will be right! So about 6pm, they came with us to Community Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing for the fundraiser. I don't know how they feel about it! I guess I have to ask! I bet it was different environment for them but great one! My boss, my closest friends and my old interpreters have met them. Some of them or some of you should be honor to meet them before my adopted family. I am sure they felt so welcome when some deaf people came to us. My husband and I love them already!! We can't wait to see them again in two weeks (I hope!). Now I am working on my scrapbook to show them my life. It is soo exciting!! I know I am soo overwhelmed with this experience. I honestly never thought it would happen to me. It is the best birthday present ever! So,. ahh... so... I dunno what I am supposed to say. Well, I will share some more later. Remember, my birth family are wonderful so is my adopted family. I couldn't ask for replacing my adopted family. They are my life and they are my guidance angels! So if you wanna ask about my families, just ask away!!! aahhh!!!
