My friend told me that she heard on a radio a few nights ago.

The U.S.A. Army gave German Shepherd puppies to a group of soldiers for free. The army wanted them to train their dog for a war in Iraq. When their puppy is grown up, the army forced the soliders to cut their dog's arm because the army wanted to make sure the soilders do not get the feeling toward to their dogs due the psychology training. I am shocked to hear that from the radio. This was not allowed to see on the TV or even the reporters. I thought that it is not true, but it is. That is so horrible and sick.

That is not cool. I am going to have to petition the U.S. Army and I understand war is a very vicious business but it does not have to be that way in some instances like this. Is there a truthful and a verifiable link to this ?

I've never heard that, and I can't find anything on the web. Can you please give us a link to this story?

It doesn't make sense. Dogs that are trained for military jobs are very expensive, and their training is very costly. Special dog handlers do the training. Also, I don't think the Army starts with "puppies". Also, I've never heard of there being a prohibition against handlers bonding with their dogs. The story sounds very fishy.

BTW, dog's don't have "arms".

My friend is not home. All I remember what she heard on the radio - http://www.coasttocoastam.com/info/wheretolisten.html .

This website has werid stuff, and I don't expect to believe everything. But, on the radio is very different, and you probably expect to believe the speakers' stories at very late hour. Unfortunately, for me, I cannot hear it. Some radio statements are not on the website because of the security reason such as their clients' personal experiences who do not want to reveal their name. For instance, the army's dark story.

Well, I don't know what I think of this because usually in the USA army, their german shepherds and mallinois are super expensive. They import most of their dogs outside the country like Germany, Belgium, France, and Netherland. They are usually worth around $ 5,000 to $15,000 for only one dog. I don't they would make those armies do stuffs to their dogs. I don't think I would believe in this story. It doesn't sound right to me.

Yeah ..... I was going huh ? I know at the end of the Vietnam War they did not do the right thing with the war dogs but today I am sure they start to send dogs home with them. I posted a story about the war dogs a while back with President Bush at the U.S. Presidental Offical Oath Ceremony from when he was sworn into the White House. They had a war dog on the floor, no wait it was his State of Address to the nation and the war dog was sitting beside a U.S. Army woman who was her handler .... President Bush signed into law that war dogs can be sent home with the soldiers. You remember that one?

I think Webexplorer was trying to explain it is German Shepherd dog's front leg.

I am digusted with American Army's barbaic ideas to test on animals to see if their army men are strong enough to handle it all. It is definetly animal cruelty. :barf:

Before you get too disgusted you better check the story out to see if it is true. Then you can get disgusted with the person who made up such a sick story.

Coast to Coast?!!! You've got to be kidding! That's the old Art Bell program. Most of the time their program topics are about UFOs and ghosts. That is NOT a reliable "news" source.

Yes, it is the Art Bell. It is probably why it mixes with the information.

My assume is that the Gov't agent has no patient to listen the radio on every show everyday. I looked some UFO pictures on the website, and I would say that 90 percent are hoax.

I believe that the radio is a good source to let the people to know what is going on our world. If the government bans that radio station, we never hear anything on other side of the news. We have to do our best judgement if it is true or not. We are not supposed to believe everything on a national news.

Poor dogs really got me attention, and I am pretty sure that it is a possible. Anything could be possible. i.e. The army did harmed some Iraq prisoners by forcing them to be naked and photo them, and you would never believe it until you hear the shocking news.

(I don't remember which dog's leg cut off - it doesn't matter which one - it is awful... One day, it will show up on the news about the army's troubles.)

Actually, I rarely check the website.

Reba - you could try and listen on the radio for a few days, and tell us about it. Maybe, you might learn something new that we did not know about.

Oops!! Not the arm - I mean the dog's leg. Thank you for correcting my word. I ran out of my energy from my hard work for a few days. Maybe, the dog is human... just kidding. (I am embarrassed.)

Occasionally I do listen to Coast-to-Coast when my other radio station doesn't come in clearly, late at night. Most of the time I can't bear listening for long because the guest speakers are so outrageous. I must admit, the host presents himself in a very reasonable, calm way. But the content of his program is 100 percent nutcase, and it doesn't make sense unless you are wearing a hat made of tin foil.

Oh really! I believe you. Maybe 99 percent nutcase.
