THe ACLU may challence washington state bad drivers program

Miss-Delectable has a good idea. I said before 19 should be a good age to drive. Now i think you can drive at 18 but you have a a restricted licence which means you must have someone who is over 21 and have a valid drivers licence with you untill youre 19.

Oh, come on... you're probably just jealous that you didn't drive when you were 16. In your head, you're probably thinking... "If I didn't drive when I was 16, they shouldn't either! They should suffer as I did!"

No, Its bucause teens are too immature behind the wheel. They need to be supervised. When youre an adult you learn to take care responsibilities than teens do.Plus you realize the parents have to pay high insurance cost because theyre 16?

Simple, the parents can make their kids get a job to pay for the insurance. That's what my parents did for me. When kids are under 18, the parents decide what their kids can do. If they don't want their kids driving at 16, they can make their kids wait until they are 18. If you raised the age to 19, then the kids could be kicked out of the house at 18 and have no place to live because they have no car. If you raise the age to 19, then you would have to raise the age of leaving your parents to 19 as well. When that happens, we'll have kids who graduate high school at the age of 18 and staying home without a job for one year. They can't even go to college because they have no drivers license to get them around with.

Guess what... my mom and my brother caught a glimpse of this thread. They're laughing their asses off at the "let's raise the age to 19" comments. Hehehe!

Honestly, too many young college student driving under influence and they think it is badass. Who will tell them it is not badass?

I support Steven's idea. We need to fix our young people's thought. Your parents did right thing, but look at million other parents doing with their children. I saw some parents brought their children like brand-new car and they crashed it because of their egos. Hello! to their parents.

If i was a US senator id introduce a law that would require if youre 65 you must give up your licence to drive. I would also raise the driving age from 16 to 19. I have a friend whos 72 she said she wouldnt vote for me cause ill take away her drivers licence. And she said how in the hell were supposed to get around then? I said take a bus or a cab. Besides Cities should add something like senoir ride. Just call up senoir ride at an hour their be at your home pick you up fare is $3 one way. Or buy a monthly pass for only $60 The more you ride the more you save. That would add jobs cause you need bus drivers. Well teens need to get somewhere too. Thats why they got parents. So parents drive them someplace .
Don't take this as offensive but :fu2: my dad is 62 going on 63 and I can tell you this... My dad have gotten alot of speeding tickets ever since he was a teenager. He always drive faster than most of people his age so I dont think people at age 65 would be willingly to lose their priviledges... so i wouldn't vote for you... if you were voted, then I'd :Ohno: and scared to see senior citizens stubborn driving without license
