Just to explain how the ads, work, they are linked to Google, which keeps track of the searches that you make (even if you don't have a Google account). If you do a search for a particular product or seller, and they're part of the Google advertising setup for this website, then bam, you get connected and everyone wins.
Also, Google crawls words and terms found in the threads themselves. So a topic about christmas gifts will probably show some Christmas-related stores in the ads.
Right now, the ad for this page for me is an ad for Google ads, because that's what we're talking about in this thread! lol!
And on another note: I was so disappointed to find that this thread wasn't about me!!!!
