now there are only thousands of fanatical wackos left to catch...

Nah....he is innocent. Remember, we have to give in to the terrorist and give them what they want. Remember, George Bush is the evil one here, and all these other guys should be commended for what they are doing.

I hope my sarcasm is obvious.

Yeah I thought so when I read that too....I saw on the tv news that some of the things President Bush is doing is good and some things he is not doing is not good for example interrogration and tourture is now banned with narrow exceptions. I thought wtf !!!!! because I know tourture and interrogration does work , if you know how to use the techniques the right way for best results.

Our sorry excuse of a president is undermining and ripping away all our rights and he doesn't even recognize the many treaties our country has made, just because he wants to be the big tuff bully. I still want him impeached!

Heath, By the way, thanks for removing the confederate flag. I appreciate it!

I did it on my own and that one is a beer stein from Germany. I will put up the confederate flag on the avatar from time to time. I am not ashamed to fly the flag.

But, as a Christian, would Jesus support the confederat flag? As a Christian myself, there is nothing in Scripture to support such a demonous item of hatred.

You need to do some serious research on the Confederate flag. How is this for starters. The Confederate flag was born on the battlefield.

In the high school history books who was flying the flag of the African slave ships? Surprise !!! The Yankee flag.

You want to impeach George Bush because he is a bully and then give Heath a hard time about a flag?

I understand the issue with the flag and how some people feel about what it can be interpreted as, but I'm confused about your stance. I guess its not bullying if it is something you believe in, correct? Please don't take my post the wrong way as I'm not knocking you for your stance, but I'm legitimately confused as to what constitutes bullying.

I guess I get a little frustrated with people who want their cake and eat it too.
Heath has a constutitional right to fly the confederate flag if he/chooses to do so. It has been challenged in courts before and people are allowed to fly the flag and post it as they see fit. BUT, if it offends somebody, then why not take that constitutional right away from them? People say Bush is a scumbag taking away rights of Americans and doing all this stuff, yet they want to tell me and others that the First Amendment does not apply them. I tend to get a little frustrated when this happens.

Taylor,

I have absolutely no problem with the First Amendment. However, I do have a problem when people hide behind an emblem such as the confederate flag :rl: :rifle: and still want freedom. That's a mixed metaphore.

Pek 1, I think you will understand this flag. Alright?

It stands for HATE. Would Jesus do it, Heath? Only cowards need a piece of shit like that.

Um. Let's be rational here. If there is, at a given time, one nation, which there was (and still is, per the civil war's outcome), obviously that nation's flag would be flying on any boats owned by that nation or its people. The fact that the Flag of the United States of America (not the 'Yankee Flag', as you erroneously call it) was being flown by ships owned by United States of America and her citizens just plain made sense. By the way, they still do fly the Flag from boats. It's not legally required for non-government vessels (except submarines), but no one will question that it's tradition. The Flag of the Confederate States of America would not have been flown by slave ships because the Flag in question, and, indeed, the nation, did not exist yet, nor did it hold itself to exist. Therefore, unless the slave traders were somehow magically able to use the Confederate Flag before it had even been envisioned, it would not have been flown by ships.

Then you're not ashamed of being racist, sexist and homophobic. And if my memory serves me right, you're audist too. Wow, you are one messed up individual. I hope God helps you see the truth.

If you don't remember, according to many churches in the South until fairly recently Jesus condoned slavery and the persecution of black people. The KKK and a number of similar hate groups/terrorist organisations and the Westboro Baptist Church still believe this, if you don't recall.

Teresh,

Yes, I do recall. Heath belongs to such a church as Westboro Blabtist Church, of which I am surprised. I also used to belong to a "white-racist-pig" kind of church, myself, until I saw the Light. I am even more surprised why Heath votes Republican, as all that party wants to do is lock up deaf people in state hospitals, as they used to years ago.

The confederate flag is a part of America's history and its narrow minded people that want to always associate it with racism. What about George Washington, he owned slaves, we celebrate his birthday. Are you going to start to boycott that next?

Hmm...I'm a member of the republican party and this is the first time I've heard that republicans want to lock up deaf people in state hospitals. Please point me to some reliable sources that show this to be the case. I could be wrong but this is the first I'm learning of this.

That is why I asked for the statement to be clarified. I've seen it time and time again, somebody will make up something about a particular party or group that is simply not true and attempt to sway voters. If the democrats want to win people over to their side, then so be it, but why would it be necessary to do it with lies? I'm not saying he was lying, but am looking for sources to back up statements that say things like the Republicans want to lock deaf people away in state institutions.

The only thing remotely that I'm familiar with is a deaf man who raped and killed a teenage girl. He is deaf, mute, and uses no sign language. Because of this barrier, he is likely to be put into an institution instead of facing trial.

Nice try, kiddo...

The southern flag created on 1860. That's why any southern flag was not on every slave ship.

Very nice try........
