What a scary age for any parent!!! My daughter is at that age.
 
I hope both you and your children are ok. It is so very hard on that poor family, but also hard on classmates and their families such as you and yours. I am relieved to learn that your school has offered counseling (if I read that right). Hugs all around.
 
that's so sad. she never got the chance to hear from her parents that she was loved.

If you have a child or children, be sure to hug them and tell them that you love them very much.
 
Sadly, this is a time for the other parents to be very watchful of their own children because teens tend to "copy cat." We parents see this as a tragic situation but some teens see it as a solution.
 
It is sad, especially when a young person feels helpless. There are a lot of resources available thesedays to help troubled kids/people.
