Well, if someone had to have tattoos on their face... I would rather it was what she got instead of weird shit all over their face like other people do (skull, blood, muscles, weird shapes, etc).I agree. Having a tattoo is permanent (unless you have deep pocket to get it laser-removed). That is why I thought LONG and HARD before I decided to get my tattoo. I had to make sure it was something I would not regret in the long run.
Not that it is bad to have a tattoo but when it becomes too much, that's where it goes wrong because it just adds up (or rather, overlapped) in the picture.
I've seen several of my friends that got their tattoos when they were younger and now they didn't like it. So, They would get another tattoo to "cover" it up on top of it, provided if it is possible for it to be covered up.
Anyway, About this thread - Why would the girl want 56 stars tattooed on her face? I mean, in my opinion, that's too much to be asking for it but hey, if that's what the girl wants, she's going to have to live with it.
I have a friend who once got a tattoo of a sun (it was an empty circle with sun flames on the outside) and a few letters/numbers inside to represent something.
Unfortunately, the type of letter he picked made the 'Z' look like a 'L'... which completely ruined the tattoo. So, he went back out a few weeks later and got a new tattoo to cover up the letters. The closest thing he could find that was his favorite and would also cover the letters/numbers was the logo for Red Hot Chili Peppers (music group).

After enlarging it on the computer several times, the tattooist finally managed to make it just the right size to fit inside the sun and also cover the letters/numbers. Now, no one knows it ever happened... except me and a few others.
