DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- A 16-year-old boy fell to his death Sunday morning after plunging from a balcony at the Ocean Walk Resort
According to Daytona Beach Police, Barret Ugland fell from the 24th floor of the hotel around 7am.
Barret was vacationing with his family who were down from Minnesota
Police released few other details on the incident, which remained under investigation.
This was the second tragic occurrence in just over 24 hours involving a tourist in Daytona Beach.
A 20-year-old man on Spring Break was shot and critically wounded Saturday morning at another beachside hotel.
