Agreed. It can be done. It just can't be done with a quarter acre!:giggle:

I thought about getting an air rifle under 500FPS, legal to own without a license, so I could stuff my freezer full of ruffled grouses, rabbits and maybe squirrels. I should think about getting a .270 or a .30-30. A fall spring black bear makes for decent dog food for about a year; in the spring, bears make for good pepperoni.

My dad was a rabbit hunter. I grew up eating it and love it!

Speaking of rabbit, I plan to buy some frozen rabbits and use it to make Brunswick soup this summer. That's my favorite soup. *lick*

Right, it's just that we don't get much rain anymore. Palm Beach County is at it's driest level in 80 years.

We're getting a hell lot of rain here. It has rained nearly non-stop for the last couple months. We've only had a few sunny days.

Same here. And temps are 20 degrees below normal. But, you know, Global Warming is a myth!:giggle:

Oh, yeah! That is good. I also like just plain old pan fried rabbit with gravy.

It's Reba's fault, the low-pressure system in North Carolina is to blame. I'm somewhat behind on the planting due to the wet weather. I think the farmers are incredibly behind now too as well, I read yesterday that only 50% of the crops have been planted.

Not to mention that it has been rather chilly for this time of the year.

Send some my way. :)

Don't blame me; I'm in South Carolina.

I'm grateful for that. :)

I'm behind on my little garden, and I've already reported what my yard is like. And the farmers are all behind, as well, and complaining. I live in an area where there is a lot of farmland.
