Get the ILY tattoo. It fits your personality... cheesy and tacky.

But seriously... though... does it have to be ASL? You might wanna think a bit longer on your tattoo. I got two in design right now, and I am still iffy on getting one after a few years... I will get them someday, but I don't want to regret my decisions because it's PERMANENT.

Likewise, I'm juggling it, but you know it, I cerish ASL too, that shows the fellow australians, they MUST respect me - they don't give a damn, about a pimp.

Don't get a tattoo then, or you will regret it years later according to my tattooed friends.

I wasn't taking anything seriously. The signs in Auslan, is pretty ugly than I thought comparing to these ASL signs, there are more than just one design to ponder with.

it's not about what tat and when you getting one.... but why are you getting one.

look - I know I'm yanking your chain pretty hard. You made this thread to get some suggestions for a tat but this is really something that you should decide for yourself because it's very personal and it has a special meaning only for you. It stays with you for life. The only way to remove it is to burn the skin or laser it off (depending on which one you can afford). It's expensive and it's painful.

I only hope that your reasoning behind it is good. I know you said you cherish ASL and all but I don't buy it.
 
try the henna tattoo - it lasts like up to 2 weeks.

You just want to get a tattoo to get some respect? Dude, that is the gang style like Neo-Nazi for swastika or MS13 for the number 13. Jclarke, to get respect by the tattoo is not that worth it. It's stupid.
