Hi,
Part of information is right. I have MDA Pro for 2 weeks. Yes, when I want to test "Video Call". The pop up message said "The 3G network is not available. Do you want to make a voice call instead?"
I am using USA T-Mobile Sim card as Data Only plan and the additional plan is WIFI. So when I travel, I use the Data Only plan which is good enough to use VeriChat at http://www.verichat.com and Pop3 Email to keep in touch with everyone. Why do I need WIFI? Well, since I traveling alot and I do stop over to have some breakfast so some of the "Coffee Shop" have WIFI and I simiply change from Data ONLY to WIFI which is more faster and conveinces.
Since this device that we are selling are UNLOCKED device. You can purchase any SIM Card. Such as Cingular, Verizon, and T-Mobile. Reason: Some of you may live out of range where T-Mobile don't cover the coverages. So you can pick another carrier that have the coverages in your areas. Isn't that so convenices??
Also, If you plan to travel another country, this device can accept any sim card in another country, not limited to T-Mobile, you can use any other carrier that carry SIM Card.
I am telling you that this really awesome.
