you missed my point, why dont you get the film "Traitor"(2009)with Guy Pearce and Don Cheadle and study the ways they talk about religion and how it links to justification to kill...

movie... it's a movie...

Some of us are resistant to indoctrination. I can't see American women signing up to wear a hijab and use the back doors.

well.... Charles Jenkins (American soldier) defected to North Korea.....

huh? What's the difference? how does one "Christianize" someone?

Talking about God is not a crime. Worshiping a religion of your choice is not a crime. Attempting to convert one is a crime.

Those who convert converted at their own will. People can not Christianize people at all.

The priest can. The missionaries travel to Muslim countries like Somalia on humanitarian missions and meanwhile - they convert them to Christianity. That's why they got massacred. Ethnic cleansing is rampant in Africa.

even though priest claim they can Christianize Muslims, it doesn't mean the gov't can find out. The only way they can find out is if Muslim confessed they are christians. Or say that the priest tried to Christianize them. But you can't christianize anyone unless they choose to be christians.

its a well made movie, just because its a movie it doesnt mean its purely far fetched it is a hybrid of action and drama. in which does a good job of reflecting on many counts. Im far more skepical of films which proposes USA as the goody...this traitor film offers something more, in a thought provocative way. It plays on both sides which is terrific it actually give an oppurtunity to see the issue from relgious grounds than just politics or taking orders from armies/spy agencies.
Obviously you havent seen it or even if you have, you dont understand it properly. I'm not sure why you are obsessed with this worry about the paranoia.

dozens of priests, missionaries, converts have been persecuted. It's not that hard to know what's going on. People talk. Look at Darfur.

I'm just clarifying your statement about United Arab Emirates. It's not a crime to talk about different religion but it's a crime to convert one or to convert out of it.

It's..... a.... MMMMMMMOOOOOOVVVIIIIIIEEEEEEEE. dramatized in many ways.

You are worried about the paranoia and getting round up cuz you're a Korean.
lol what?

oh btw - I saw this movie several months ago. it's a good action flick show  but I don't let it influence my perception.

well, I will be glad to talk about Christ to them :D

yep! just expect the debate to get heated :)

I know this because I lived with a Muslim in the same room for a couple years. I have several other Muslim friends as well. We do talk about religions and politic. One thing for sure - they hate Jewish people especially Hasidic Jews very much... because of Palestine situation.

the Muslims are very tolerant of other religions and they are peaceful friendly bunch but you must respect them in return. simple as that. that applies for all other religions too.

OK, but dont underestimate movies they DO influence people, and is influenced by what happens in real life. Sure its a fictional story, but hell even seen "Lord of War" (Nicolas Cage) that was seemingly absurd but it was true story by all accounts not a bit stretched. the whole point why i mentioned Traitor its gave what maybe be described as a fresh perspective looking in roles of religion in wars, especially between the western christianity world and the Arabic muslims world in conflict.

So they don't mind if I say in my belief, Everyone is a sinner who need a Savior????

I think they are going to have a problem with that.

<---- Or what? is that a threat? As a christian, how can I support a religion who keep massacring Christians just because they happened to convert Muslims? But anyway I don't really bother them though. They very welcome to build a place to worship and such, and build a community here which some already have.

Jiro, I dare you be Korean! I'll bet that you're good at math, too! We must stop you before you take over! :rl:

This whole thread.. is outrageous. I am going to use one of the things.. that Jiro keep Posting in other threads....

This whole thing is about... FFFEEEEEAAAARRR!!!!!

Freedom of religion should be allowed. People will always use religion to excuse their behaviors regardless. No Church or Idol will change that.

and that is seriously My opinion....
