Why people suicide? USA is a great place to live, isn't it?

Freeway Chase in Washington State Ends in Suicide

OLYMPIA, Wash. (Oct. 5) - A 10-mile freeway chase ended early Wednesday when the man pursued by police killed himself, authorities said.

Police said the chase began sometime after 3:30 a.m. when a man was suspected of driving drunk. During the chase, the man's car hit a spike strip that flattened his tires, and he crashed into a concrete barrier.

After the crash, authorities said the man appeared agitated and took pictures of officers with his cell phone. He then dialed 911 and asked that the officers back off for a minute, said Washington State Patrol trooper John J. Gunderson.

About five minutes later, an officer moved to open the car door. The man drew a gun and shot himself in the head, Gunderson said.

"That bullet almost hit one of the officers," he said.

Interstate 5 was closed near the state Capitol just before the morning commute started. Police did not immediately release the driver's identity.

Suicide happens everywhere. I dont find any of this funny as my father committed suicide himself. :tears:

It is mental disorder that leads up to that very act, nothing else. You could be rich or very good looking or whatnot yet suffer from mental woes. No one is immune to it, whether it is in USA or not.

Really I ask you to not to get into the joking of this issue - like I said in my previous post, my father committed suicide so this is not an issue that deserves joking or senseless postings. Thank you
 
Well, me personally, Miss P, I think suicide is not the right way to go. There is always a reason why we all should keep on living until we die......not by our own hand. Suicide is a serious thing, you know.
 
sometimes I want to suicide, because there is no reason to live.
The only thing that keep me from doing that, I don't wanna go to HELL.

why I want to get married if husband might cheat on me or hate my gut?
why I want to raise children if they might turn out bad anyway?

And plus I can't get the career I really want...

And why I have to be friend with most people I don't like.

Sorry Gemtun for being insensitive, it is just that, most people
are deceitful and I don't trust anybody.

Just like my lawyer I thought I hired, and I emailed him, and
he never emailed me back. And I feel I am being ripped off with my
money I paid him, so that is why I feel cold hearted.

You think I would kill myself. :werd: I will never suicide myself... I have a boy I love the most and if I have problem or financial or anything, I just put them away and I don't care if I am really poor or owe someone, I don't care for them. All I care is my boy and want to make him happy and letting him know how much I love him and want to see him grow up. It's going to break my heart to see kids growing up without mother or father due to suicides. :shock:

I don't think you should do suicide even if life isn't right for you....life has it ups and downs....you can go through it and make the best of it.

Not all guys are that bad....there are many good ones....maybe the guy who had a crush on you at work may be just a good guy. :) If he's good to you, is friendly to you, and treats you right, maybe he's one of the good fellas. One good way is to find out how he treats his mother. :)

If you "lay down the law" (be strict), but be fair and loving to the child, you won't have a problem. :)

Many people start at the bottom and work their way up, Miss P. If you work to your best of your abilities, and work at it, you may finally have a career. If you have those 2 degrees, find a career with those types of subjects that you have studied for those 2 degrees. I don't want to see you wasting your time with those 2 degrees where you could actually be using them to get a good career of your own.

You don't have to like everyone.....and everyone doesn't have to like you....that's life. Just always smile....if you don't like them, that's fine...talk to someone else who you do enjoy being with....but don't be rude to the ones you don't like....like I said, just smile and be polite. :)

:werd: My grandfather and a friend from high school committed suicide too. :(
 
I was teenager and attempt tried committed suicide by knife slit on my left hand but didn't happends. My A-Dad send me pshyco hospital and counselor treatment me for a week and find nothing wrong.. *geez* wasting my time.. Counselor spoke w/A-Dad, you must stop treat your daughter horrible things.. but he ingore what counselor says.. I made my decision "Ran away from my A-Family* and got my own living. Pretty long way, I did climbed the ladder as my goal to reach success "normal life again". I'm glad I have wonderful family and friends who supportive me as well.. So far, I'm GREAT!!! :D I still not going look over my shoulder where thinking of "back (past)."

Doesn't want more deeper situation.. I'd rather giving it out "limit".

NASHVILLE An evacuee from Hurricane Katrina attempted suicide aboard a flight bound for Washington, D.C. today.

The United Express originated in Houston, Texas, and was diverted to Nashville.

A captain with the 118th Airlift Wing of the Tennessee Air National Guard says the flight had eight evacuees on board. She says she doesn't have any details about the suicide attempt.

The passenger who attempted suicide was taken to a hospital. Officials say that at the pilot's request, all passengers underwent a second security screening before the flight was resumed.

Trauma experts have started warning that while many evacuees appear happy to have escaped the worst, this can mask profound troubles from the dislocation that will surface later or sooner.
 
miss p. If you think those are the reasons why you should kill yourself, its not a very good reason, Nothing is a good reason actually. Death is when someone's time is to go, not because someone want to leave the world. Right now you claim that you think u should not live cuz of mens, children, and jobs, those are basic things and are very easily to be achieved with patient and time. I dont know how old you are nor i care. But time will come when u are ready.


As for myself, yes i have did commited sucided before, but never made it through (as evidented of me being here at this moment) and well when i go though those moods, nothing else matters to me, and everything seems like shit. But now i look back and think, wow i was really depressed back then. So suicide is not a funny thing to joke around because people who are suicidal tend to think that nothing matters anymore, their mind is concentrating on the bad stuff not the good stuff and it make them more and more upset and more and more try to attemp suicide. For example when i was in the down stage of my bipolar, I dont think about the happy things or the good things i have to take avantage of, like a family, friends, shelter, food, etc etc all my mind was thinking about death, depression etc. So again, suicide is not a funny topic to talk about.
 
yeah, and if I suicide, then I would have never met my
favorite nephew who is 9 years old.
And I will regret it if I have my own wonderful kid who I will adore...

Yeah it would be foolish to kill self, the devil wants you to see
the bad stuff and want you to think that there is nothing else out there...

But don't give up, keep living and we will all be surprise what
God has in store for us.
