Sudden Increase in Appetite.. CRAVINGS

Anybody got those frequent cravings lately??

I have lost alot of pounds within this year and my appetite has skyrocketed. I used to eat one big meal then none for the rest of day... now I need snacks, small meals then one semi-big meal (which I usually never finish because I was already full from previous snacks)...

My friends have been teased that I might be pregnant. [rolling eyes] or that I am high on something... munchies!

I looked it up to see if it is related to weight or something else-- all Google brought up are drugs or conditions (being high, pregnant, serious dieases) that has a symptom of increased hunger.

There are many factors that may affect my cravings:: I became vegeratian recently. I lost 25+ pounds in a year. I have school which means A LOT MORE EXCERISE (those damn 5-floor stairs)...

anybdoy want to join my bandwagon and ponder the reasons and recite their cravings??

Right now I have been craving for CHINESE FOOD. It is SO bad because I would always go for chicken in Chinese food... (scarfing in a corner, in private, being a sinful veggie)

Sounds like you are either pregnant or you are not getting enough nutrients since you are vegetarian, you probably lacking proteins or something...heh..

I believe u are not getting enough nutirients in ur body, so ur craving for more minerals in ur body since ur a vegertarian...u should be go and research more about getting minerals that might help reduce craving into foods that have some minerals in it. I hope that will answer to ur questions...there's sub foods that replace what u can't eat (meat) like soy products or something like that, also vitamins which has minerals replace what some foods have that u aren't getting enough from....anyways good luck
 
Protein curbs cravings. Sounds like you need to eat more beans or tofu to remain full for hours.

Not sure if you eat eggs or milk products...you did not say what kind of vegetarian you are.

Either way, please stock up on protein like cheese/eggs or eat more navy, pinto or whatnot beans.
 
The beef and poultry we consume are given injections and supplements
to make them gain weight in a short period of time, maybe trace elements
of what these animals have been given is affecting us the same way.
