I have been told earlier this evening, that my neighbour's son has been mauled by a dog, two houses away from us. The dog was a crockery Spaniel or whatever, and the owners had no choice to put the dog to sleep immediately. The son's OK - have few shitches near the chin and the bottom of the mouth.

YIKES! I am glad he is OK...I would do same thing if my dog attack or anyone. I don't want to cause any more problem in the future, period. I would be heartbreak of course!

We have that law here too. I am always very careful with my dogs. I would not want any child to get bitten. And it would also break my heart to put one of my dogs to sleep.

glad the son is okay, jacob. sorry that it happened since it could be prevented. sad that the dog has to go without any accurate investigation.
