About 15,000 stray dogs in Greece put down to sleep because of the Athens Olympic Games!!!!!

There are too many underweight and thin stray dogs in Greece for many years and the Government decided to wipe them out to keep the tourists happy to visit Athens during the Olympic Games.

I find it upsetting and unnecessary to impress the tourists! I was hoping someone will find one to give them a home!

It is barbarous!!
 
Well, I think 15,000 stray dogs is way too much! They probably wanted to play it safe since stray dogs are at high risk of having rabies.
