Star Trek Fiction becames reality!

I remember reading about that and what's really interesting is that idea comes first in print and film before it becomes a reality.

Think communicator = Cell Phones (as an example)

Warp drive can be a very good possibility to travel in light speed. All of us may not see it happen, but who knows what 200 years will bring?

When transparent aluminum was created several years ago, it wasn't as refined as it is now. The first edition wasn't very transparent. Several years later of refining and tweaking, it's about 90%-95% transparency. But strong and durable.

Makes a great storm windows too, especially in places like Florida where hurricane weather occurs yearly. Saves big bux in replacements and insurance companies happier.

That brings to my mind of Jules Verne's "Paris in the 20th Century" and "From Earth to the Moon" where lots of what he wrote became reality now.

I wonder how they came up with this... by looking at the computer screen in the movie? ;)
 
Someday it will, there are many futuristic stuff that people made up on the TV and movies that already came to the truth.
