Spider-man 3 was a total disaster.

The orginal Spider-man was actually OKAY. alot of parts were pretty cheesy and alot of mistakes were made in the first movie.

Spider-man 2 was simply excellent. Love that villain Dr. Octopus...he is a total genius.

Spider-man 3...what the fuck were they thinking? Emo "dark side" peter parker with the dark suit inside his jacket? As for Flint Marko...still dont explain why they using some sand in the study where he fell in accidently and as for Topher Grace as Eddie Brock Jr was a FUCKING HORRIBLE actor to go as Venom. Green Goblin Jr...what the fuck is this? some kind of extreme sports special in spider-man 3? Seriously...Spider-man 3 got everything ALL wrong. It was rushed, obviously...and as for Director Sam Raimi, who admitted that he has no actual knowledge of Venom so he thought he should just put him in there for the third installment getting the fans "excited" about Venom when of course he has obviously made a very poor choice putting him in there then got him killed at the end. If you have REALLY read the spider-man comics...Venom DONT and CANT die. Seriously...that was one of the most fucked up movies I ever seen in decades since X-men 3.

I still have some fear for Sam Raimi still directing more spider-man movies so I dont know if I really want to see the 4th and 5th by Sam Raimi after knowing what he did to the third which totally ruined the trilogy.

Of course one of the reasons that Sony Pictures said they are already planning on a Spider-man spin off with Venom and should be going as a completely different direction than expected...lets hope its a good thing. Troper Grace will NOT be back as Venom so thank god for that.

Anyway....lets see how it turns out with Spider-man 4 and 5. Kristen Dust said she would like to do more, so its a very high possiblity that she will be back for more anyway. Let's hope these new movies can help us forget Spider-man 3 then.

Pulitzer pen crafts "Spidey 4"
Friday October 31 1:51 AM ET

Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright David Lindsay-Abaire got out of a rabbit hole, only to be ensnared by a spider's web.

Lindsay-Abaire, who won a Pulitzer in 2007 for his drama "Rabbit Hole," is in final negotiations to write "Spider-Man 4" for Columbia.

Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire are back as director and star, respectively. Kirsten Dunst also is expected to return for the latest movie featuring the Marvel Comics character.

Plot details are under lock and key. Producer Laura Ziskin had said she would like to aim for a May 2011 release for "Spider-Man 4," nine years after the original movie's debut.

Columbia always has gone off the beaten path during the development process when hiring writers for the "Spider-Man" movies. Alvin Sargent, a veteran scribe best known for 1973's "Paper Moon" and 1980's "Ordinary People," served as a writer on the second and third films. Michael Chabon, another Pulitzer winner, also worked on "Spider-Man 2."

James Vanderbilt previously wrote a draft of "Spider-Man 4."

Lindsay-Abaire's "Rabbit Hole," which starred Cynthia Nixon and Tyne Daly, hit the Broadway stage in 2006 and won four Tonys, including best play. The writer also is known for the play "Fuddy Meers."

Lindsay-Abaire has said in interviews that his plays tend to be "peopled with outsiders in search of clarity," which would put his work on sympathetic terms with Peter Parker, who in his classic incarnation is the perpetual outsider.

The choice of scribe also signals that that filmmakers are intent to focus on character, something that critics said got lost in the third installment.

Lindsay-Abaire, now writing the book and lyrics for the Broadway musical adaptation of "Shrek," has dipped his toe in Tinseltown before, with his adaptation of "Inkheart" due in January. He is also adapting "Rabbit" for 20th Century Fox and Nicole Kidman.

*shrugs* Lets see how well they can do with Spider-man 4 after the awful and shitty third installment of the Spider-man trilogy.

They said they are shooting back to back of the spider-man saga, so I hope that means that Spider-man 4 will be given a fresh new start to Marvel's most beloved superhero.

The Punisher didnt get very good reviews thou I have to admit the action was decent yeah but the story and characters? not so hot. So it was just okay.

Some of the best Marvel movies I liked so far is the first two X-men movies, two Spider-man movies, Iron man, Blade trilgoy, DareDevil, and The Incredible Hulk.
