Yeah you are right, I should have brought my sun lotion, I got the sunburn on both of my wrists.. Yupp the waves can be hard when it's windy, but when it's not windy then the water is like a glass, and the water is very bright blue, also cool! :)

Thanks! :D I surely do enjoy my new home and the trip to Greece :)

Anyway, yupp I am back, finally! I was very busy recently, I have to remove the floor at the bathroom to fix the foundation and set up whole new bathroom, my dad helped me some with it but it took forever and since he helped me, he want me to pay him some back so I lawn mow and do the garden for my dad. I also try to make everything settle down at my home, such like buying the accessories for kitchen, the tools, light blubs, everything with the new home.

Enough of my new home stories, here the Greece goes. I really really LOVE Greece! The only part of my trip that I hate the most is the plane! Too much security and boring, but Greece is so awesome.. The people there are not really like Europe nor Middle East nor Africa, they are very different, they are very calm like not really poor or rich, not really busy or lazy, not really straving or full all the times, it seems everyone is on the right balance and seems so calm, also their policies is very fexible. Like there's no such law for alcohol or cigarettes, people drink and smoking alot because at night they tend to go out and party all the times. They do that instead of staying at home and watching TV like we do in America. The road in Greece is very crazy! The police even don't care about people doing the crimes! The people in cars just drive and don't stop for people who walk on the road, also there's so many motorists around Greece. Beware, the Greek people in Greece is not really clean people, if you look at the ground very good, you can see lot of garbages all over the ground, the people just don't care there. At very opposite what I described about the people in Greece above, they are very strong Christians, there's so many churches around Greece, even the you can find a church in the airport! Also even those very little closet size church standing on the road in middle of nowhere. Everytime when Greek people driving and passed those little church, they say "Amen". They say "Amen" pretty often, for recently earthquake, for recently fight, for anything that was so surprising. The enivroments in Greece is desert, but some areas are not and there's so many mountains, those mountains tend to look like rocks. Also there's lot of islands around Greece, and the beaches. To me, Greece is like Europe's version of Mexico.

So here the pictures go, Opa! (opa mean have fun in Greek)

At the morning in May 30, my parents, my brother, my grandpa and I got on the taxi to the Portland's airport and I have to go to the plane with my grandpa, my parents went to different so is my brother too, it's pretty hard to go to the plane with my grandpa because of his health issue, mental issues and not really listening very well, also he don't know sign and only can read alittle, but I find some of advantage from him and felt so lucky about it, me and my grandpa flew from Portland to Seattle, then from Seattle to Paris, France. Paris's airport is the worst airport I ever seen in my life, it's so huge and ugly, when we got there, my grandpa require a wheelchair so a servant push the wheelchair for him all the way to other flight, that is where I took so much advantage, the servant guided us to other flight that we are supposed to go, but we took 3 different elevators, a train, then van just to get other flight, it was really long way in the airport, we could have missed our flight if my grandpa don't get a wheelchair. Anyway, then we got on the plane and flew to Athens, Greece and then meet my parents and my brother, then my dad got a rent van and everyone went to our hotel. Here's the pictures I took around the town of Loutraki where I was staying at.

greece026.jpg

I know the first picture was blurry, my fault oops, it's my dad, me, my mom, and my grandpa near the casino.

greece021.jpg

That's the casino, the largest casino in Europe, but my family and I didn't go there because they have pretty ridicilious (no offend to Europeans) policies. They have the security electric gates, had to be 23 years old to gamble, had to pay to be a membership and enter. In America, we don't have the security electric gates, can be 18 to gamble, even we don't have to pay to enter. So we just skip that casino and wait till we get back to America.

greece027.jpg

At the morning, I took some pictures of view of the beach and Loutraki, it's right there from my hotel. Pretty, uh?!

greece037.jpg

My brother, Brian by the beach.

greece038.jpg

Me by the beach.

And then we went to a ruin in Cornith which are just right next to Loutraki.

Another ruin in Cornith.

greece048-1.jpg

View down the valleys when I was at the ruin on the mountain.

greece050-1.jpg

A lion deck, maybe?

greece052-1.jpg

See that gate? That gate is called Lion's Gate. Think about it, how the heck did they do that in the past?!

greece054-1.jpg

Again the beach at Loutraki ;)

Then we went to Sparta, where the movie "300" happen.

greece064.jpg

A statue in the city of Sparta.

greece072.jpg

greece076.jpg

Those are the ruins in Sparta. Think about it, there's millions of people died from war on the ground where I was walking around those ruins.

Those are the castle near Sparta and the city you see in the picture of view down the valley from mountain is the city of Sparta.

greece092.jpg

Cornith Canal, it is not a earth made canal! It's a man made canal, they dig this in long time ago with only hands or simple tools. They did that to cut off the boat's way, and are still use today. Smart and brave people, uh?

greece094.jpg

Me, my mom, my grandpa, and my brother. We are on the boat heading to a island called Spetses, we was supposed to go to Hydra, but due to the boat's schelude and prices so we went to Spetses istead.

greece096.jpg

The town of Spetses.

greece097.jpg

greece098.jpg

And inside a church.

greece100.jpg

greece101.jpg

greece103.jpg

Their church is very small because their church culture is not like ours. The people just go in the church and put the candles, then say amen and their church is done. They don't go to church to sit and listening to a pastor like we do in America.

greece107.jpg

We have been feeding that bird when we was at the resturant, those birds are very piggy!

greece109.jpg

Another church on the island.

greece113.jpg

I can't remember what that place is called, it's start with "E" but long word. That place is really interesting, if you stand on the middle of that place, everyone will hear you! There's no technologies done that, just the sound waves nature.

And then, Athens!

greece116.jpg

greece118.jpg

The Olympic Stadium, don't you know that the first Olympic game ever played is in Greece!

greece120.jpg

The rail in Athens.

Finally the Acropolis, the famous history area in Greece and the world.

greece122.jpg

greece123.jpg

greece124.jpg

greece127-1.jpg

greece128.jpg

This is the largest Parthenon building in Greece, I think. It's like 100 feet tall and even much longer in the length.

greece129.jpg

greece133.jpg

greece134.jpg

And then we went to Napkfinos(sp?) where we think there are our families relatives that nobody in our family from America had seen for over 100 years.

greece136.jpg

A bridge that we passed to Napkfinos(sp?), that bridge is the most beautiful suspension bridge in the world.

And the city of Napkfinos(sp?)

greece137.jpg

greece138.jpg

And about our families relatives, we found them! Sorry I don't have picture of them, my parents have the pictures and they are supposed to give me the pictures of them, anyway, we just went to the post office in Napkfinos(sp?) and found our families relatives working there already! 3 men working at that post office are our families relatives and then they brought us to their house, and I was so shock to see our family blood having the blondes and blue eyes! I never see any of my families relative that have same blood as mine having blue eyes or blonde hairs, but they are very nice people and there's so LOT of our families relatives and I can't remember who they are.

And then we went to Zorianos where my great grandpa's, that went to America and spread out families like us, family that was used to own a sheep farm. The village of Zorianos is very far on the mountain and half of that village are our families relatives! I read the Wikipedia about that village and it says that village has 200 population so that mean there's 100 or more families relatives in our family, that's lot of families relatives. Here's the picture of a village near Zorianos, I am not sure if that's Zorianos or other different village near Zorianos.

greece139.jpg

And then that day I became 21!

greece141.jpg

That alcohol I was holding was a gift from my dad, that alcohol is a Greek's alcohol called "Ouzo", it's very strong alcohol and taste like Licorice, sweet!

What really happened during my 21st birthday, my parents and I plan to go to the beach at afternoon, I pour some of Vodka in my orange soda before we go to the beach. When we get to the beach, I drink Vodka mix with orange soda and became drunk on the beach, then went back to the hotel and I even still drinking the alcohols, then everyone else, except for my grandpa, start to drinking with me and we chatting, then had a nice dinner, and I still kept drinking till 10 pm, I finally fell on the couch and slept. I failed to go to the bar with my family on my 21st birthday due too much drunk

And then next day which is the last day for us to explore Greece, we went to Delphi, which have the interesting history. That place was used to have 4 women smelling the steams that make them high and telling people what will happen in their future and people believing them and worship them, even give them the money. Also Delphi is the center of 4 ocean plates.

greece146.jpg

greece150.jpg

greece155.jpg

If you look carefully at those rocks on the wall, they look like puzzles. How did they do that in the past?!

greece158.jpg

greece160.jpg

I guess that's all for now :) I hope you enjoy my pictures of Greece, I really love Greece and would love to go there again if I got a chance.

Thanks everyone again!
