Maybe they are working on something that the FCC and perhaps VRS providers and the deaf/hard-of-hearing community would like?
 
it would be nice for the international users to contact the USA citizens, eh?
 
The Proxy is nothing do with the real ten digital numbers from Sorenson. What Sorenson provided right now has 10 digital numbers and yes they are rolling the ball to us and in order for us get ten digital numbers.

Again.. The Sorenson didn't opposite against that FCC about ten digital numbers. No it doesn't make any sense because you guy are.... The marketing of business that need count careful before they removed the proxy that past we use videophone number. However; it is fake and it not real due its proxy. They are asking for delay one year. Let me ask you question. Do you have time to pass out with your real ten digital number? If billing companies, friends, families, and doctors has to dial fast vrs number then use proxy's videophone number in order to reach us. Once the relay got pop up about the phone number has changed, the new number is blah blah blah... So they can beware to able reach us in other way to dial directly to us. You can tell them, "Please removed my proxy number or fake number." They will glad to remove it but they will warn... if you want to removed it... people who has your proxy videophone number and will get bounced due they don't have ten digital number.

However; look at other side... other VRS isn't ready for anything... Yes HOVRS has purple number but they will go back and contact all people who current member has purple number to get other agreement... So it does do with Sorenson too.

We can't have three phone number for one device, same idea for ATT and Sprint can't work with for one cellular phone. What solution? Pick one...

It what FCC about one device for default provider with ten digital numbers.

Something that VRS have to work out with FCC's way.
 
This makes sense... I am small business owner. So a lot deaf have my proxy number. I need them to be able to access to my business card with proxy number that i have given out in last two years.

Its like Cingular gave us time to give out new ATT email instead of using old cingular email. Joecool@cingular.blackberry.net point to joecool@att.blackberry.net for a period then cut off. Same process of transition. No cold turkey.

At least they are still following FCC ruling about adapt 10 digit to a device.

Perfect answer. That is what I was thinking too. The proxy numbers should still work while Sorenson is going around converting everyone to the new numbers. It won't happen overnight.

why you must complain? cant cant fix overnight or many viedophone will be out shame on you for no doing invetigation one year maybe tooo long 3 to 6 month good

transistion period. Sorenenon not give you 10 digital nubmer same time fake nubmer on vp you lose fake nubmer if get 10 digital nubmer with transistion

look cingular pager give us several months to change addy to att
