some people with acne problems

A friend of mine with bad pimple, -i felt bad for her cuz she got low-self esteem.-
I suggested her using clearsil but it doesn't work for her.

(oil, blackhead, whitehead and red).

Which product and name you use for acne problems?

I saw TV infomerical like "provacti", "murad" and at store have "K-Clear".
But too many product for acne problems at CVS store and another beauty store..
And it is confusing to some people and hard for them to pick.

Some people got disappointed with different product for acne problems that doesn't work for them. Waste time.
and return it back. Also Dermatologist Skin (Expensive)

Mine's clearsil (I don't have bad acne or worst acne, just few) but it works fast. (I dunno if it works for others with clearsil)

Over through the years, I've had some acne problems. It was worse when I was a teenager but becoming an adult, it started to lessen down. However I still get it from time to time (especially when my menstruation starts - ugh).

So, for one product might work for me but it probably won't work for others. It also depends on how your skin is like. Is it dry, oily, flaky, so and on? I've been using the Neutrogena products because it is agreeable for me. Since my skin is oily, they have a moisturizer and most of their products are oil-free. For my case, it helps.

Proactiv is also another good product to use.

You just have to keep looking for the one that will be agreeable to your skin.

My friend, she has oil and dry on some area on her face also red. She did try with neutrogena but it doesn't agree with her skin. Yeah. She's still looking but she's going to try with provacti and see what happens.

Sad for some people with serious acne problems. :(
 
I don't have acne, but I do wash my face every night with True Pore-Fection, which you can order through Avon. There's four different products: Skin Clearing Gel Cleanser, Skin Refining Cleanser, Skin-Clearing Lotion, and...something else. I can't remember the fourth one.
 
if those off-the-shelf products do not work, obviously... she'll need to make appointment with dermatologist and get prescribed drugs. I've heard of success with ACCUTANE medication. My gf was on it for several months and it produced a good result.

There's not much you can do to stop the acnes just as much as you can't stop the puberty. The best she can do is to reduce the break-out by washing her face frequently w/ Cetaphil soap and reduce eating/drinking diary products. Or maybe the acnes may be due to her constant stress.
 
I suggest your friend see a doctor or dermatologist to find out the best solution for clearing up her skin.

Anything that's related to your body, it's best to get a certified physician (or whatever specialist in that field is) for their opinion before proceeding. :)

Thanks Vamp and Everyone who suggestion for my sweet deaf friend. However, she doesn't like taking medication like accutane (I know that accutane medication does help for acne).

Vamp, that was a good suggestion. she doesn't have insurance for the dermalogist. She's going to try different product for acne from store.

Sometimes, it helps to talk with someone from the Pharmacy area in the store. ;)
 
I use " Proactiv solution" and they give me great result. Acnes triggers so many problems that cause it. It can cause by stress, junk foods, oily skin, women with hormones. But avoid over-washing or stripping your skin’s natural oils with harsh alcohol. This just causes more imbalance and can actually make blemishes worse on your skin. I been using it for almost 8 years and still stay with that.

Ah... ok.

There are a lot of pharmacies... not just one. Wal-Mart, CVS, and a lot of major grocery stores have pharmacies. You can check with them.

If you're not sure about one place, you can always get a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th opinion.

If you go to 5 places and 4 out of 5 recommend one brand, then it MIGHT work for you. :)
