And, are we still discussing it. Perhaps it was missed because there was not so much of a furor raised as has been raised over Obama's citizenship.
It was dropped because McCain lost the election, and that question is now moot.

... Find something new that hasn't already been dispelled if you are so intent on discrediting the man. And by you, I mean the collective opposition, not you specifically.
I would appreciate if you would not include me at all. I never brought up the birth certificate question, and I even counselled other McCain supporters not to bring it up.

Why do you brought McCain´s name up to response Jillio´s post for when you know that Obama´s & McCain´s birth certificates were being examined during Election 2008?

Accord Jillio´s question "Agreed. Anyone seen such a furor made over a white candidate's birth certificate?" - Yes she´s right because nobody demand all of white presidents for the proof of their birth certificates until after Election 2008... Obama... because of his color skin.

Oh please... shake my head...

That is exactly why I clarified the fact that the "you" I used was not directed at YOU specifically.

And, Obama has also already been elected, and the question fully addressed and answered, so it is now moot.

The reason I mentioned McCain's name is because Jillio asked about "a white candidate's birth certificate." McCain was a white candidate, and there were questions about his eligibility because of the circumstances surrounding his birth.

She asked a question, and I answered it. Why should that upset you?

I could imagine if McCain win the presidency in 2008 and he could face too many court cases like Obama did.

No, I´m not upset but let you know what I interpret Jillio´s view post differently as you.

Like what I said before, both McCain and Obama´s birth certicficate were being examined during Election 2008.

Jillio´s post hit my head "....... white candidate´s birth certificate" and find odd that all of white presidents´s birth certificate never being demand for the proof until the thread creator posted the article here...that´s because Obama is black and his father is Muslim and African...

It's because previous presidential candidates had better documentation and witnesses of their births and childhoods.

Obama's been elected and sworn in. That's it, finis.

Better documentation? How many ways are acceptable to document place of birth? A birth certificate is considered to be the acceptable document for such. Obama produced his.

The point is, why was it even questioned?

And yes, he has been elected and sworn in. Those that continue to raise such irrelevent questions simply have an unterior motive and agenda to fulfill.

because Obama was a nobody to us when he entered the race. Donchaknow in basic psychology 101 that it is deep inside human's nature to be afraid of unknown thing. A black man running for Presidential seat for the first time in US history and plus - he was a nobody.... Imagine the shock at that time!

and yes - those who continued to raise question are idiots.
