Snake Venom beer!

Goodbye Liver!!!

I like a strong beer, but surely that's more like a barley wine. Certainly wouldn't be able to just tip it down your neck :)
I think the strongest stuff I had was about 22%, you had to sip it...

The pub near me sold some of that "Sink the Bismark" 41% stuff recently. They charged about A$150 a bottle, and you could only order it if you were in a group of 4 or more..... I suppose this was to prevent drunkeness.....
Seeing as how I live in a country where the national sport seems to be Falling Over Pissed this struck me as a little unusual :)

I wish be beer it I wish drink . :( not allow me forbidden. strictly!

As the article says, they seem to be in a war with another Scottish brewery called Brewdog.

As I understand it both Tactical Nuclear Penguin (32%) and Sink the Bismarck (41%) came with resealable liquor-style bottles and it was suggested you drank it in shots like liquor.

Once beer starts passing 7% the taste becomes too strong and boozy in my opinion.

Why aren't you allowed, Travis?

i've had beers at 12% and STILl tastes alot like beer, and actually more beer-ish in tasting than the German Hoegarten which is absolutely horrid while 'its a famous german brew' i cant figure that out, its way to SALTY...

9% beers is still beer, my guess is for WELL made beer the drop-off point is about 14%....but for beer as beer as in sane/normal potency that you DON'T taste but stays completely like a Normal beer would be about 10% but honesty I havent found this on yet, its just a 'hypothetical point' so maybe your 7% is more accurate but do be prepared to be surprised

Hoegaarden is Belgian. It's also something of an acquired taste.

It's still beer, but the alcohol taste starts to become more and more apparent. I'll drink liquor neat but I don't want the same sharp intensity from a beer; so I don't try a lot of very strong ones because usually I don't enjoy them.
