Just got back from night skiing....Oh man, if you ski or snowboard, and live in the area that got hit by the bilizzrd......GO play hooky and hit the slopes!
The snow is GORGOUS powder....the absolute best conditions EVER, especially for spring skiing!
I had a blast....was on the slopes the entire time and my lift tix was cheap (I was wearing green so my ticket was $17.50!) AND I got first tracks on TWO runs...my dad had to drag me away from the slopes b/c I kept saying that I just wanted ONE more run.:) What a great night! :)

Dang, that sounds fun!!! I wish I was closer to the blizzard... I'm in Californ-Uh.

Skiing...I tried snow skiing once -- only ONCE -- in grade 8. I fell right on my bum and never skiied again. I just knew I didn't have the coordination nor the balance to keep on skiing!

First time I fell, I still got up even though it broke my eyeglasses. And second time I fell, I managed to get down a black diamond slope. You can ski! Women have a better chance to be a good skier than men because of the low center of gravity. Don't quit because you fell on your ass once! ;)

 I want to SKI but not enuff snow here and too wet to skiing! I LOVE to skiing and wait for next season -- this month will be last for ski resort to close.....

I can't even Ski.. The last time we went Skiing was about 7 or 8 yrs ago. With a Church Group and I could not get up after I fell down and This Guy who works there was real cute he helped me get up. I would Not go on Big Hills Im too Chicken.

No one, not even the professionals, have perfect coordination nor balance to ski/snowboard. Everyone falls on their bums the first several tries (and maybe for every time!). I don't ski, but I do snowboard. I fall so many times, especially when I tried "regular" but when I switched to "goofy" I was soo much better (but I still feel because of the ice, or thick powder snow bumps). It's fun, it can be painful, but it's worth the experience!

The Last time I went skiing was about almost 17 years ago with church group that my friend attend...and I told her I didn't know how to ski ..She told me it was easy....Well , It wasn't ...I was going down the hill and BOY, I sure went down so fast that cause my legs to split apart then I fell flat on my behind!...I tried serveral times to get up...my legs would keep spliting apart  ...I thought to myself I could never learn how to Ski!...

SKIING! I love it way to much! I just started to learn how to ski last year! Lets just say that I sucked BIG time.. I couldnt even know how to balance on the skis and i kept falling on my behind.. *whines* it hurts... lol.. After a while I started getting brave and went on the medium slope which had a huge curve.. So when i was going down the hill and for a second I totally forgot how to turn.. ekkkk... So I kept on skiing through the woods!!!!! ekkk! It hurt so bad.. I got twig marks to prove it.. LoL! I was so idiot! After that happened I got so afraid to put skis on again.. But one of my teachers at my school taught me how to be brave and told me that he will go on the medium slope with me so i was like ok.. Ill try.. *whines* Then when we got up there.. He took me to the wrong slope.. He tricked me and went on the expert slope! EKKK! The only way down was to go down there.. I was scared as hell! So he was like oh its ok come on and taught me how to turn and slow down.. After that night, I shooked my teachers hand and thanked him a bunch to love skiing now! :ily: YAY! :fruit:

I love to ski! And tubing too. Right now, I don't have time to go ski, I have a little boy that I need to be around with. Hopefully next year, I will teach my little boy how to ski...

Anyway I like to try any sport stunt.
I have try parachute, bungee jumping, snow ski, water ski, and I love roller coaster.. I have drove my car up to 100 mph on the highway. I am up for anything new and dangerous stunt. :)
