Wow and I pay $650 for my 20x11 (220 sq feet) studio just near Queens... Mine looks a lot bigger than hers. Guess I struck gold?

well it's the location and you live in a dead area![]()
Have you even been here? And it's easy to commute to NYC from here as well. Jamaica is just few towns over.Doesn't matter how much and how big.Wow and I pay $650 for my 20x11 (220 sq feet) studio just near Queens... Mine looks a lot bigger than hers. Guess I struck gold?

Don't see it as a dead area.Have you even been here? And it's easy to commute to NYC from here as well. Jamaica is just few towns over.
:rofl2:1 hr. gtfo.
1 hr. gtfo.
Doesn't matter how much and how big.
but this was right in manhattan....not Queens...![]()

45 minutes. Some of the subway stations in Manhattan take 45 mins or longer as well.

45 min. 1 hr. it still doesn't change the fact that you live in a dead town![]()

Well, my studio back then was bigger than yours.Yup, I still refuse to live in Manhattan. That's why I went with Queens area. Cheaper rent and bigger studios.![]()
I like it like that. Nice and quiet. If I want to party, can always hop on the train to where all the fun is.![]()

have fun with subway hobos![]()

I'm not paying 40 bucks or so to park my car in the city. And I'm NOT driving in the city either. It's a nightmare and my bumper doesn't need to be crushed any further. I'd rather pay 2.25 for one way on the train and give my car a break.![]()
I've never ever pay $40+ to park in city![]()
.... and I'm from New Jersey... and you're New Yorker!
You're good at parking. I'm not. You drive like a New Yorker. I drive like a Long Islander.
You loco? No I don't drive like New Yorker. They don't know how to drive and they should not drive in NJ.
In case you didn't know, parking is free after 6pm in some area and 7pm in most area. And free in some area.
If the place is in area where parking is very difficult, I simply park at area where I can take subway to there.

So how does New Jersey drives? And why is it that my vehicle doesn't have any single dent or scratch from NYC? hint- I drive like NJ in NYCAfter having experienced your driving... Yes, you do drive like a New Yorker. You know how to get around.
I'd rather not drive into the city anyway. I'm fine with taking just the train. It'd probably take longer to drive there because of the traffic. Train>Car
If you're going thru manhattan locally to get to NJ, then you're an idiot and you should take a bus insteadI have to drive across Manhattan to get to NJ this week.![]()
