Anyone know where I might find the right link to download the sign language fonts for screen saver ? I did tried to find one, but there were lots of them on the list and I didn't know which one is the right one for screen saver. I would appreciate with your assist. :ty:
 
Just use whichever fingerspelling font you like best. All of them will work. To set up the screensaver, right-click anywhere on your desktop and a window will open which enables you to change your Display Properties. Click the screensaver tab, and in the drop-down list select Marquee. Click Configure, and type in what you want the screensaver to say. Click Format Text to select the font and font color. Set the other variables such as scrolling speed whatever way you like, and you’re done! :thumb:

Oh, yes I got it ! Thanks so much for your kindly assist. I will owe you one after I settle down in Juneau, Alaska this comin' Friday, May 5th. I will not forget you. :hug:
 
The one I see most often is Gallaudet Regular. It is available for Windows and Mac. Here's the Windows version. Just unzip the Ga______.ttf file to the Windows/Fonts directory, and it should install itself.

I just did that...it shows open with...I clicked on it then when I open it...I cant check on the box because it froze..:dunno:

What do you mean by unzip the Ga?

I got it. Thanks ! I just downloaded it for my bf's computer yesterday. He saw it on my computer and wanted one for his computer, too. LOL I borrow his computer here, because my computer flew to Alaska -- waitin' for me to arrive there by tmr. :D

Yeah, it was for my bf's computer, because he saw what I have in my computer before it flew to Alaska. He drools, I guess ! :lol:

Can't wait to kiss Alaska's soil tmr ! *Big Grins*

You need to decompress the folder with Winzip. After you do that, you will see 3 files. One of these files is named Ga_____.ttf. The .ttf affix stands for ‘True Type Font’. Put this file in the Windows/Fonts directory and it will install itself automatically. Then just follow the procedure I already outlined to turn it into a screensaver: right click anywhere on your desktop, click Properties, click the Screensaver tab, click Marquee from the drop-down list, click Settings, click Format Text to select the Gallaudet font, configure the screensaver to your preferences, and click OK.

Oops—I’m totally forgetting my manners. I love mine, too. :thumb:

Ummm...what's 'broadlight'? :confused: Her favorite color is lavendar, so if it will change the color from what it is already, then I don't think she would be interested.

Broad light -- bright durin' the day like sun in the sky. I guess it's called Broad daylight ?

About the color - then, it is settled. :)
